Guess I should pop in with a word or 2, being a source in Japan.
I got a membership a few months ago, for 1 month.
In Japan we can sign up without a credit card by paying an anonymous cash bank transfer at the local 7-Eleven. Convenient.
Anyway, it was nice to be able to look through the vids they have available. There's some good ASFR stuff in there, maybe about 10 videos in the collection are about cyborgs or android heroines, so not much. No 5-star stuff, but a few open panel repair scenes, and the girls are mostly pretty good-looking, or at least not repulsive.
Yes, there does seem to still be a focus on suffering and wincing in pain, it seems the girls always act very human, no blank-robot-stares or Stepford wife-mode I can remember. [This pattern is the same but taken to extremes at the Giga Freeks site, which I believe is actually the same company as Zen Pictures. Zen is the PG-rated site, while Giga is the X-rated.]
It's definitely more of a site for the heroine and/or spandex fetishists rather than ASFR. But if you can afford a 1-month membership, it's probably worth it, and more English-based customers might mean even better English service, maybe subtitles and such.
Be warned, the streams (at least here) were pretty low quality,seemed about the same as the preview vids, I assume 320x240 resolution, and probably much less than 1000kbps compression. . In action scenes there was pixelization and some blurriness (but no major loading delays, a trade off for streaming video)
I assume that they're thinking if you join as a member for a month or two, and then find 2 or 3 favorite vids, you'll go ahead and buy the DVDs for your collection. (Though I also think the video quality on the DVDs may not be exactly hi-def either, so if you invest in a DVD purchase, buy only 1 and see how you like it)
One other warning, the Japanese site actually features an entire section of U-15 heroine videos. U stands for "under". Not my taste, so I just skip those, but certain laws being more strict outside Japan, especially in the USA, may want to make you think twice about even having links to such stuff. It seems like those vids are not part of the English site, though.
BTW "over-15" is different, it's the recommended VIEWER age, so kind of like PG-13 in the USA, or R-rated. So no worries.
