Very interesting!

I'm still watching the full clip, but I liked the discussion at the beginning. The "researcher" character makes a valid point, paraphrasing Paul's criteria for love. I had never looked at the issue in that light, but in that context, a suitably advanced AI could be considered capable of love - one of those emotions that we usually treat as being limited to human beings.

Every episode seems to be better than the last. I'm really enjoying this series.

Also...<b>(WARNING: SPOILERS)</b>

Remember how in the first episode, when ordering Kyoko, there was a warning not to modify humanoids? It seems like that's going to become a Chekhov's Gun. I'm worried for Kyoko now.

I'm a little confused. When Shawn gets the promotion, his co worker congratulates him and then later he is angry that he didn't get it and gives Shawn this mystery number.

Am I missing something?

Yes: Sarcasm.

The Dude might not be that great of an actor, so it's not entirely your fault you didn't get it, but when his coworker "congratulated" him, he was being sarcastic. Apparently Shawn's Co-worker had been busting his balls putting in a lot of hours on his job, while Shawn was being a little lackadaisical, only doing the bare minimum amount of work required to not get into trouble with management.

So They Guy congratulating him was doing so sarcastically, because he thought that HE was the one who deserved to be promoted and not Shawn.
It would be a pretty natural reaction to being passed over for a promotion that you think you deserve.

Which means: even though the acting is subpar, the story is pretty good with emotional context.

If he was going for sarcasm, it really didn't come across to me. You know he had been working hard to get the promotion and it would be more natural to be angry at the time he hears about it going to Shawn.
This just seemed like a strange little glitch in the story witch up to that point had a very smooth flow.

I doubt anyone can answer this for me, but does anybody have an idea when Episode 5 will come?

Being in the official Facebook group I got a message that Episode 5 would be delayed on May 31st. That was almost a month ago. I'm getting a bit concerned.

i got the same facebook message back then i suspect some actors/actresses have other gigs and are yet to free up their time. that or they have abandoned the progect because the were bound under contract to work elsewhere.
