So on the cover of my local "alternative" news weekly, Rochester City Newspaper (a.k.a. The City ... 'cept most all of you don't live here) is the image of a woman's face with a couple USB ports on the side. The article (sans cover-art [that is available -- temporarily -- on the home page linked above]) is titled "SCIENCE: Bold new world -- Ray Kurzweil plans to live indefinitely". I haven't bothered to read it, but it's apparently about this particular futurist's view of what kind of hardware-wetware linking we have in store.
As for the rest of the articles, The City appears to have grown back some balls as the "liberal" weekly, so if you're politically inclined to like Bush and/or McCain, then the rest of the articles may not prove to be of your liking.
