Yeah, it's rated G, but it's got a gynoid.

Very curious to see how this does. Most of the time, the straight to video sequels aren't that good. But this time it look like they are trying to stay truer to the nature of the cartoon.

Plus...it's got G2. Can't wait.

Strangely, I suspect this one will be better than the Matt Broderick Gadget movie. In fact, when I originally heard that someone was going to make a live action Inspector Gadget movie, I told many people, "You know who would be great for that? French Stewart."

I don't generally base my movie-viewing decisions on actors, but there are just some instances of wrong casting that can (help) ruin a movie. Of course, there were other factors working against Inspector Gadget. Still, the bit when he wakes up in hospital and discovers that one of his fingers has a PEZ dispenser is pretty funny in a sort of incidental way.

Yeah, I just watched the trailer....G2 looks very nice indeed, this looks like it might be an OK movie.

We'll see....
