CGI Sorayama-type gynoids can be spotted in some places.

"Apology accepted, Captain Mirage"

They are onscreen for only a few moments, mostly in the background.

Just saw Revenge of the Sith for the 2nd time now, I spotted some of the "femdroids?" at the following spots.

1. Scene Imediately after Anakin and Obi are talking on a transport shuttle after they crashland Grevious' ship (far left side of screen, next to the C3PO looking droids )
2. a few scenes after above, 2 of them briefly taking a few steps on the far Right side of the screen.
3. BRIEFLY and I do mean for like a stinkin instant or less as Anakin is running up some stairs to some sort of Star Wars Cirque du Soleil, shes near the top of the steps on the far left of the screen talking to a person.

The brother in law and I will no doubt challenge each other to how many viewings we can amount to, so I may find a few more...lol
btw, awesome movie =)

There is a cut scene in Bail Organa's office, featuring a femdroid. Let's hope it is restored for the DVD.

Hey Fellow ASFRains'
I too went & saw the 2nd showing of Revenge Of The Sith with my older brother today, AND DAMN WAS IT GOOOOOD!!!!!!!! So far This was the best of the new series, Though I REALLY did like EP2. This one however clears almost everything up, though if like a few others & myself, if you read Laberinth Of Evil & The book for Revenge Of the Sith, a few plot points were left out. Nothing major though. As a true diehard fan of these movies I was completely blown away at how this one turned out! The sences & the background sences were just awesome, the battles are some of the best yet, the effects well IL&M so you know what to expept...NOTHING BUT THE BEST!! & As always John Williams does another wonderful job with the music score. All in all 5 stars & 2 thumps WAYYYYY UP from me.
As for the ASFR content you have to look around quickly or as others said you'll miss it, the sences there in are VERY Brief!
My advice if your fan, treat all reviews as BANTHA FODDER, do not let one fool you, go see it & make your own judgements, as all Star Wars movies go I'm a fan of them ALL Yes even the Phantom Menace (But Jar Jar should never have been created) Well my fellow Masters, Knights, & Padawans Farewell for now, enjoy this movie, & May the Force be with you......ALWAYS :) PETE#69/ANDROID69

Be sure to click on "Expanded Universe" and "Behind the Scenes" on Korby's URL, where you can get a better view of the BettyBots (though the rendering sucks, especially for ILM standards), as well as a really good sketch of Bail Organa's Sorayama-bot. You can click on the thumbnails for a full-size image.

Keep in mind, I'm still wondering what "a set of fully articulated lekku" means.

Lekku are...

Post by handle » Fri May 20, 2005 3:01 am

The twin tail-like appendages sported by all Twi'leks. If you want to know what a Twi'lek is, watch Episode 6 and see the girl who gets tosssed by Jabba into the rancor pit first before the attempt to rescue Han Solo in carbonite goes apparently awry.

They are used amongst Twi'leks as part of their body language, which in Twi'lek terms is a very large part of their communications.

Rotwang was right! The scene he mentioned in an earlier post with a female android has been included as one of six never-before-seen deleted scenes on the DVD.

It is contained on disc two & is titled : A Stirring in the Senate ( Bail's Office ) Episode III Deleted Scene 2. The female android is shown entering a room as Bail Organa, Padme Amidala & four others sit around a table discussing preserving democracy in the Republic. She brings a serving tray to the table & there is a second shot of her walking out of the room.

This entire sequence lasts approximately 10 seconds but i think it is by far the best view yet of the BD-3000 Luxury Droid in the film. All of the other scenes with this droid that were included in the film are barely detectable. This scene provides the best view of her possible although i would have liked to have had at least one really good close-up. Oh, well! We can't have everything!

Yes, love the included cut scene of the BD-3000 Luxury Droid. She is quite the sexy piece of hardware!!

Lets have a little naming contest, name your BD-3000 Luxury Droid if you were to aquire one =)

I would have to name her: QT-4U

:D :D :D

UserJesse's Luxury Droid name of QT-4U is similar to a number i used on a robot drawing of a woman i like. She turned 42 years old & i wanted to refer to her as a cutie pie so i decided to designate her robot as QTPI-42.

It is sad to think about all of the resources at Industrial Light & Magic & what we are salivating most about is a 10 second scene of a CGI fembot that was relegated to the editting room floor. The movie series that has more robots than any other film in history & only one brief moment that resembles anything close to what we want the most.

This situation reminds me of the 2004 DVD release of The Stepford Wives where the best female robot special effects were added to the deleted scenes from that movie. I am referring to the kitchen scene with Bette Midler reviewing all of her functions. At least that scene lasted more than 10 seconds. The only silver lining in all of this is that Industrial Light & Magic is responsible for many great robotic effects from other types of films than just the Star Wars series.
