Chrome movie

this has been reported before, but again, does anyone have any idea what happneed to the movie after they released the trailer?

I remember reading on some random website that the producer guy Hines got into some legal difficulty with some of his staff. According to the rumor mill he hadn't paid one or two of his crew members. This could all be a pile of crap mind. So i presume that it's on hold till after that gets sorted and of course war of the worlds. Which I guess has prioity (sic). They are a small company after all.

I'm assuming he's holding out to see how well "War of the Worlds" sells on Amazon. It's almost worth it to buy WOTW to give him more money to do "whatever" needs to happen to get Chrome out.

They don't answer email, so it's doubtful he's big into anyone who sees the film as "more" than a sci-fi downtrodden-liberation story.

Does anyone have any new info on Chrome? I think it's safe to say that this entire community is waiting anxiously for the release of this movie.
