A Japanese website for amateur cosplayers who really
strut their amateur stuff. Also features the "2 android girl"
amateur idol singers FICE. (The pair in the pink and blue outfits and wigs)
I think it's basically promotion for a total otaku shop in Akihabara, otaku capital of Tokyo, and the world.

It's all kind of silly, but that's the point.
Anyway, they invite just about anyone to make an idiot
of themselves, or show off in front of the camera, and then post
it on the site.

One section keeps with the android theme from FICE,
and is called "playing with androids"
Kind of like an improv drill, each cosplayer is told to do certain
things, like "be a seal" or "invite someone to dinner"
For us the fun one is "be a broken android"
Not everyone is asked to do it, and the results are, well.. amateur
and unrehearsed, but it's all good fun.

This week (updates every week) the third cosplayer in the maid costume
does a funny routine as a stuttering maid-waitress-android. There have been a couple others, but they've been taken down, I think, but it looks
like the site is taking off and people are lining up...

Is there anyway of downloading these videos? I am personally on a pathetic dial-up connection with little or no hope of upgrading to high speed, so needless to say "streaming" is not a close personal friend. =(

Well, this works on some websites. Find out how to View Source or whatever it is for your browser (for firefox it's View > Page Source). and then find a link that ends in a file type that is a video, and then use that link to pop it into your favorite download manager (or if you can get firefox to give you the option for download). And there ya go.

I tried to load the one that says about broken android, but it keeps saying that it's not found on the server. Any help?

Note to self: Double check before posting. Just changed the "fice" in the link to "fire" like all the others on that side.
