Just saw a dance theater number called Lord of the Dance. Its a Celtic dance celebration, similar to Riverdance.
If you have no idea what I'm talking about here's the official site:

The reason I bring this up here is because there is a very short wind-up girl scene. The Little Spirit (a sidhe, Pan-like character) sprinkles some magic dust on an immobile girl (statue?). She then goes to the back of the figure and winds her up, complete with ratcheting sound effects. She then begins to stiffly and mechanically move. At that point, other dancers come out, moving a bit like she does, but more fluidly. She continues to move mechanically in the back of the dance number for a while before she joins the rest of the dance troupe, dancing normally.
I was pleasantly surprised when this all happened, although I was a bit disappointed when nothing happened to elaborate on what that was all about.
If you're into the theater or dance, you might want to check it out. If not, you might want to stay away. Like I said, the scene was very short.
