Quick question
To put this to rest, has anyone seen "The Companion," with Bruce Greenwood, in it's entirety? Bruce plays an android who becomes obsessed with his owner, and for robot-loving ladies it's probably a really great film, but I just thought it was ok. I didn't see the first half hour, though, and if someone who has could tell me if there was like a five minute (or five second) scene in the 'android store' at the beginning, with gynoid models, or something like that, then I would know whether or not it was worth it to keep looking for a cheap copy. And if there was already a post on this film, even from over a year ago, feel free to stick this question there as a reply; been checking the bbs regularly, but not reading everything, possibly because of posts like this one (heh, sorry). Thanks all.
At the beginning when she is looking into the idea of a companion there is a scene where the salesperson assistant is revealed to be an android. She's very attractive but they only speak of her being an android. So yes there is some small amount of gynoid activity in this film but very little. Hope this helps.

Whats Parasite Dolls????
Hey folks,
I also agree, try saving your time & money for things like ROBOFORCE: AKA I LOVE MARIA, ROBOTRIX, WESTWORLD & FUTUREWORLD. I to saw this & its ok. For the Ladies though I'd recomend BATTLE BEYOND THE STARS, A much older film but at one point the hero meets this robot-repair lady. the male androids in this act very robotic & there is much asfr content in this part of the film but its mostly for the ladies.
KISHIN, ol pal what is PARASITE DOLLS?? Please explain more about this if you would be so kind??? Your ol pal PETE#69/ANDROID69

If anyone's interested, it's on ebay right now.

If I had the money, I'd buy it.
ike an animated version of BLADE RUNNER, the full-length Animé film PARASITE DOLLS depicts a futuristic world wherein humans and their uncannily lifelike android slaves share a precarious coexistence. A government organization known as the Branch exists to police the interaction between man and machine, but chaos ensues when a few unhappy robots decide to break loose from their preordained roles in a desperate bid for freedom. Directors Kazuto Nakazawa and Naoyuki Yoshinaga have set their sci-fi thriller against the backdrop of legendary Animé series BUBBLEGUM CRISIS: TOKYO 2040, creating cutting-edge animation whose hyperrealism is technically immaculate and visionary.
