This months Heavy Metal Cover

Post by ZORG » Sun Sep 26, 2004 3:40 pm

This months (actually Nov 2004 issue) has an interesting female in a full metal suit on the cover. Nothing remotely robotic in the issue though.

As is common with most Heavy Metal mags...though there are some fembot-related stories every so often

Beautiful cover -- too bad about the lack of content behind it. Does anyone have the name of the artist? I would like to try to find this piece printed elsewhere (something more 'bot related) before dropping cash for Heavy Metal.

The contents page of the Heavy Metal in question says the cover art is by Tariq Raheem. Hope that helps!

Thank-you. I found a larger jpg of the image used for the cover and have uploaded it here in the gallery.

Hi

Reminds me of the old 50's pulp sci-fi covers that weren't even remotely connected to the stories inside.

Lots of semi naked women and mad scientists and robots tho.
