An ASFR Classic remade? What is your take?

I have been speaking with Stuckfast trying to get a copy of "Upgrade" but he said the actresses will not allow that to be release. We have come to the agreement that the film can be re-shot using new actresses. I for one would love to see Cinda Hunter as a fembot. If you are at all interested in seeing this remade as well, (or if you know how I can get a copy of the original again) please send me a message.

Strict remake (essentially the same script, shot-for-shot), or would it possibly be a bit racier, or have a slightly different story?

I loved the original, loved it!
Keeping it shot-for-shot, like the original, would be fine by me.

The idea of having it made with a few small "racier" changes might not be bad, but I do not have the money to fund that. The last I checked it would be nearly double the cost to have more mature elements.

The next issue would be, what should the changes be.
Perhaps, a brief scene during the dressing sequence.

Perhaps a neighbor / third character (one with less reputable intentions) arrives and takes command of the situation and the woman with naughty results.

Perhaps, not having a "control unit" present during the upgrade, leaves the new unit with less autonomy and control.

Who knows.

I have not had anyone tell me that they are interested in assisting with the funding. As it sits, I will look at suggestions but until someone else ponies up and contributes to the production costs as well, they will only be suggestions.

Still the suggestions are welcome.

i for one would love to see a remake of upgrade but i unfortunatly would love to see the script tweeked just a bit new scene doesn't have to be nude just little more story.. see ive found that over the years many of my favorite clips movies or what not no longer are as exciting as they once were but two new actresses deffinatly helps but in truth no one can really replace charlotte harper.. now that i think of this i really need to start transfering all my stuckfast vids from vhs to dvd before its to late and my tapes fall apart

I used to own upgrade in fact I owned upgrade, and the making of video, (both on VHS).
The problem was, they stopped working entirely (magnetic damage I guess). Speaking with Stuckfast, he informed me that it was not possible at all to purchase, which is what brought about the new version path.

Upgrade, was a wonderfully shot and edited video, in which a a college woman discovers that her roommate has been converted into a robot by interrupting her during a down-load.
The fembot (very well acted) explains she is a robot and mentions how the human roomy can join her in cybernetic superiority. they discuss free will, programming and internal circuitry.
The fembot goes to class and the human gal starts the transformation without, her by dressing in a silver bodysuit that initiates the conversion. The fembot returns home to find the roomy has started the process and is excited to complete it.
The acting was great and the girls were pretty. I absolutely loved it.

I for one would welcome a remake. I ordered a copy years ago but never received it. I only ever really got to see the small sample clips that were at one time available, which looked like it was well taken care of in terms of editing and script.

SO I for one would enjoy seeing a newer version come to light. With a few new extras twists would be cool.

I owned it a while back, but have moved home since then, and it seems to have gone astray. Well either that or its buried under a million other things in my room upstairs lol!

I've still my copy of Upgrade and the Outtakes viddy on VHS. It's one of the ones I mean to convert to an AVI someday when I have the tech. I'd love to see a remake too.

I never got to see the original, just some stills. However, whatever is done, I would want to see the characters keep with wearing the silver catsuits.

Mature elements such as what, nudity?
That would surely raise the cost, but what about just rubbing her sex while still in the catsuit or possibly an orgasm before blacking out (shutting down).
