Hey...Was sitting around and remembered a commercial that featured a gynoid that began malfunctioning during the commercial.....the starnge thing is that she was talking about a product, but I can't seem to remember the product.

That's the problem Kishin...I remember the woman was standing there talking about options like if you were buying a car, but I'm not sure if the commercial was about cars. She did look like the young lady named Flo in the Progressive Car Insurance commercials. Maybe that will strike a cord for someone...

I remember this commercial. It had something to do with something called 'Voices for Choices' . I lived in the DC area in 03 and I don't believe it was widespread though. I think it was a local or regional commercial. I remember that it had the lady start out giving her pitch in a friendly yet blank, mechanical way, then she starts to kind of get stuck in a loop, and malfunction, and toward the end she kept saying 'Choices, choices, choices...', and it shows that a couple of guys behind a wall who were controlling her via a control as she was connected by cables that were previously hidden. Then she shuts down I think. From what I remember she does look like the girl from progressive. And like you, I still have no idea what the commercial was about, just suprised at the time to see it. Maybe a campaign commercial? Or energy???

Thanks for that info Kano....I think you are right about the whole make up of that commercial, and yes it is hard to explain what the commercial was about. Loved the young lady in it, and the malfunction scene around it.

Mmmm, the 'gynoid' from progressive. Those electric eyes, ahhh.
