Best type of voice in a gynoid?
I was just wondering what you think the best voice in a fembot is.
Normal: Talks exactly like a normal person would.
Total Monotone: The tone remains the same constantly, with no change in inflection. Ever. GLaDOS from Portal would be the most extreme example of this, although HAL 9000 fits as well.
Partial Monotone: The tone doesn't change TOO much. Maybe she talks in a certain mood (happy voice, sad voice, etc.) which you can easily detect, although the voice is never that much different.
Quirky: Not a monotone, but something's a bit off. Maybe she says things with a different tone most people would. Or her tone changes a bit too much. Or she never uses contractions. You get the idea.

To me total monotone is the fembot voice style. But then again thats probably because its the robot style I was brought up on.
It was certainly what I was expected to do when 'being' a robot I must say, so its not only me who sees it that way

I'm just a 'girl' who wants to become a fembot whats wrong with that?

I tend to imagine normal speech when fembots are talking with non-fembots, slightly more technical and less casual speech when fembots are talking with each other in their standard modes, and much more technical and less casual speech when fembots are talking to each other in specialized modes. Finally, I imagine a monotone when fembots are giving status reports, although other processors may add an additional component to the sound.
In addition, the fembots can communicate by low-power radio or wire connections. They might hear this as distorted audio, or see it as text, or both.

I'd like a bit of a low-pitched, sexy tone. Every word would be enunciated clearly and slowly, but not too slow - so as to be warm and comforting.
There would definitely have to be a bit of a metallic undertone to her speech (sort of like a digital glitch) that one would notice if she'd be talking at close range. Definitely a pre-requisite.

Speaking of fembotic voice, a commercial for Comcast cable aired that featured a woman (singing?) with a monotone-like manner:

In answer to the poll, though, I would say that quirky, but with an OCCASIONAL partial monotone (as part of the quirkiness)
