In Philadelphia, it's enough to say "youse", if one wants to address the second-person plural.

In the NW of the city, "yuhz" (short "u") is preferred by those who will live and die in the same neighborhood into which they and their accent were born. One will also hear "yun" (why?).

English has that unfortunate lack of a plural second person pronoun. At least it brings out creativity. One day everyone will adopt the correct form that has long been established in these parts.

Like Tectile, I too hail from Show-Me; born in Gateway, to be "cryptically" precise. I've also lived in Colorado, Idaho, Kentucky, and Tennessee; although despite the meth and crime, Show-Me will likely remain Home............

Welland, small city in the centre of the Niagara Peninsula just to the southwest of Niagara Falls in Ontario. Two hours driving from Toronto and thirty minutes (depending on the traffic on the border) from Buffalo, New York.

Well this is depressing, living in Brooklyn, NY.

Home of three things.

1) Crazy heavyweight champions (boxing) :)
2) Coney Island (polluted) :(
3) Fran Drescher

Really need to move.

Fran's from Queens. And she's a smart, attractive woman, as long as she never opens her mouth.

But don't forget that Brooklyn is the home of hipsters, overpriced beer, and unreasonable rent. On the plus side, some really great bands, cheap matinées, and CONEY ISLAND, which if anyone ever says anything bad about ever I'll pop you one.

Another army vet, eh? Well, when I served in the Canadian Forces, I spent 2 years in Halifax, the capital of Nova Scotia. Several months in Lahr, a city near the Rhine River in Baden, Germany. Almost 2 years in Kingston, which is on the east end of Lake Ontario in Ontario. And after I graduated from university in 1996, I spent a total of 9 years in the Republic of Korea (the southern portion). Several months in Seoul, almost 2 years total in Kwang'yang on the south coast, half a year in Chinhae to the west of Pusan and the rest of the time in Kyoungju, which is some distance north of Pusan.

Rest of my life's been in good old Welland . . .
