Here's the thing. I've supported the site since it's inception. Wrote positive stuff about videos I enjoyed. Bought videos on C4S even though I could access them on the site but not download. Been a fairly decent customer, definitely spent some money. I am not ungrateful for the things they do well and am usually very vocal in my support.

This last little bit of delayed stuff coupled with the fact that photo sets of the videos are now being counted as an update is a bit too much. I asked when I joined how often the site would be updated and was told once a week. After the first time it was 3 weeks with no update I wrote a polite email and was told that yes it was updated weekly and that I was wrong. The second time it was 2 and a half weeks between updates I didn't mention it. The next time it was late I let it ride. As the days when it got updated seemed to shift I got irritated. This time it's been over 2 weeks again and with this update consisting of malebot stuff, I won't bother checking it out so I've got at least another week, maybe more before any fresh content that interests me is posted.

If they'd post stuff saying when they expected content to be added and not started using photos of the videos they are going to post and counted them as a weekly update I wouldn't be as disappointed as I am.

Now I'm sure people see this as not that big of a deal and it's really not. I like 95% of the content they produce and I will continue to support Ashley's C4S offerings if she continues to make fembot content, where I can pick and choose what I want when it's posted. Maybe the site isn't making the money to justify weekly updates or other projects are more lucrative and demand attention first and I would totally understand if that were the case...if it were communicated to me.I feel like, as a member there, that I'm an afterthought and they'll get around to updating when they want to.

Anyway, done semi-ranting and I hope that the site does do well, we all gain if it does. I've asked for a refund of what is left of my years subscription, maybe I'll get it, maybe I won't.

Yeah. The malebot thing, out of the blue, is a bit off-putting. The videos they've posted in the past are good, and the quality is getting better each time... But the infrequency doesn't justify the price tag really.

Posted a review on the Toy Boy, in the commercial updates below. I doubt it will be enough to convince anyone to change their mind on the subscription. But I can say in all honesty: it wasn't that bad.

My objection isn't with the male android, although not my cup of tea, I get that malebots might get some air time. I get that some people might like that aspect and I'm cool with that. I'm not into shemales either but it didn't bother me that they did a shemale video, incorporating other interests is totally expected. My gripe was two weeks with no update, then when they do update there aren't any fembots to be found. That and using photosets of the video that is to be posted and counting that as an update. (Which to their credit they didn't do this time). As I mentioned, this isn't the first time and for me, if they'd just communicate delays instead of customer service saying that it must be my browser (c'mon, really?) and that they really are updating every week, I wouldn't have even mentioned it.

I like that you're diplomatic, Kishin. It's a wonderful trait and I have tried to be regarding my frustration with this. I'm not even that upset about the whole no refund thing (I get it, lots of other places have the same policy). I was just trying to let my wallet do the talking. Not to punish the producers but to express my unhappiness with my own situation. I don't expect anyone to follow suit or rally behind me. It just bothers me enough to not want to spend more money there and if that grabs someone's attention and they address those issues instead of customer service, in essence, calling someone a liar, then outstanding, I'll renew my subscription.

I get that KJ. and for what its worth I've always looked to you as a person of interest in regards to the fembot porn market. You've always had your finger on the pulse of new releases and updates, so I listen to you when you mention something here. I merely mentioned the review as something for folks who viewed this thread to see. The tendency in many folks here is "its a manbot? Not gonna watch!" and I don't blame them (it is FEMbot central afterall). I'll be looking for your posts in the future, as I know there's still studios out there who occasionally "get it" and make fembot sex videos for those of us who are interested (not just clips but full blown films) and often unaware of them.

I appreciate the kind words, you and rman do a great job running this place and giving us a forum to post those new finds that we run across from time to time.

It looks like scifidreamgirls is heading down the path of producing more malebot content and again, that's fine, I'm sure there are plenty of folks happy with that. I am sorry to hear that you want to cancel your subscription to Scifidreamgirls. KJ, I respect your opinion and always have taken your suggestions to heart.

I understand your issues and I will try to address some of them here. Not that this will change your mind but it might help shed some light on the situation.

First, there were issues with the cache and a lot of people were not seeing the last few updates so they just assumed that was the case and treated it as so. I apologize for the lack of care in that department. But the cache issue is fixed and updates will show up now for everyone. There are two people that handle customer service and everything else for 10 sites and sometimes they are a bit overwhelmed.

I wanted to film a mandroid scene for a long time now and my team was a bit hesitate. But when a few of our female members had requested a manbot we finally decided to do it. I honestly did not know what kind of reaction we would get but I at least wanted to try it and see how it played. Most of the feedback was very positive however there were some who were none too pleased with LANCE. Which I understand. And I did say in another post that I was going to do another one with LANCE and another Female android. And that was it. At no time did I say or elude that was the direction I wanted the site to go in. If you haven't noticed I enjoy me some hot fembots! As much as I love men and mandorids, I would much rather perform with female robots. Period!

As far as the updates go, there were issues when the site first launched. There were updates plugged in and the programmed used to update them was wonky and did not post them when it should have. But that has been fixed. Over the last 2 months we have been using picture sets as updates before the next video update. That is being done because at this time it is not financially viable to update with a video every week. We had done that for months and it was killing us budget wise. Every video costs a lot to produce and we do not have the membership base to support that yet. Let me be very honest with everyone here, for those that think I am making a million dollars from this site, I am not. At this point I have not made anything close to what we have put we have put into the site. We barely break even some months and run in the red for most. Our memberships are growing every month and eventually we can go back to a video update every week. For now I think we will shoot longer scenes and break them up into two parts so there will be a real video update every week and the pics will be with an update.

Please know that I do have some kind of update for you guy every week and I will try to make sure that it is actually get posted. It's still a newer site and there are still bugs to be fixed and addressed.

We are in the process on working on another story line that will be very android acting intensive but in the meantime I am open to all suggestions and stories, scripts, or screen plays. I really want our members to get everything they can out of the site hence "Mandroid" so please don't hesitate to make suggestions. I am open to all critiques, criticisms, and yes even praise!!!

Thank you for taking the time to not only read and understand what my issues are but to address them point by point. From reading the thread I hope you get that I have no issue with the quality of the actors or the production themselves. You guys really are second to none on that front.

Point 1 - That makes sense when it is explained. Not knowing this and having customer service say it's on my end when I know that it isn't...doesn't. Hence my exasperation.

Point 2 - Again, my exasperation wasn't with the appearance of a male android. It was no update for 2 weeks and then the exclusion of any female robots when an update finally did show up that irked me. It seems that it was just was bad timing for the server to decide not to update. Your female and gay clientele are paying members and just as important as myself or anybody else and you should be able to cater to them as well. If I was mistaken in my belief that it was going to be a regular thing then that's on me. As I said, I expect for there to be some variations on a theme from time to time. Besides, it's your website and you can put what you want up on it, I just felt like if that was the direction it was going then I didn't want to be part of it. Again, it appears as though I was mistaken or I misinterpreted your comments from the other thread and that's my bad.

Point 3 - I'm glad to hear you are adding new members monthly and that the site is growing. I figured the picture sets in lieu of video updates was for budgetary reasons. I think I even alluded to it being a cost saving measure in my first post. I get that, I understand it and see it for what it is. If there had been communication with members saying " hey we're going to a picture set - video - picture set - video update schedule instead of the video - video - video -video that everyone is used to" I wouldn't have batted an eye. I don't want this website to fail, on the contrary, I want it to succeed and prosper and produce content for lovers of fembots, mandroids, shemale robots and what ever else is out there. I want to support it and help it succeed. I just don't want to be left in the dark and made to feel like no one cares about me after I've paid for access. Basically just communication. Late update - just say hey we're running late with this one. Changing the expected format around - drop us a note on the website so we know what to expect.

Ashley, because you have addressed my issues and let me know what's happening and the let me know the reasons why things were the way they were...I don't want a refund. I want to continue to support the site and I will continue to do so for as long as you'll have me as a member if this type of communication exists when a need arises.

And again, production quality, sets, camerawork, hot models and everything that goes along with that stuff...that's never been a problem for me. For that I am grateful.

I understand your reaction. In your six months as a member, you've seen some of the members attitudes about male bots on Fembot Central, but SFDG is a different animal. I wonder how well pay sites work where the target audience contains both gay men and straight men? Why should there be any, why wouldn't they simply split apart?

Is a male bot an example of a controlled man, risking symbolically emasculating the libido of the straight male viewer who wants to control and dominate female bots? Is the male bot a violation of the safe space for those who wish to see women objectified? The pay site safe space promises, the female will be gazed upon, and the customer will not be similarly objectified or dis-empowered.

I welcome learning about any examples of pay sites where somehow these groups are both served. Being in the homosexual minority means a cruelly smaller pool of potential partners. Being bisexual means having even more potentials than being heterosexual; but I think pay sites may be inherently unkind to bi-libido appetites, because of the economic and demographic factors of being in a minority smaller than the gay minority.

If Ashley arranged for others to shoot male bot scenes, somehow not taking her time and effort away, those could always be sold. We're jealous, we don't to lose out on time with Dr. Fires' crew.

I don't see a problem with having a male android in the mix. In fact, this can also set up a rather interesting soap opera scenario, that can have an ongoing story.
However, I think the posing and acting needs to improve. I am not a current member, But I have purchased a few of the clips and am not fully impressed with the movements and acting. It moves into too much of a normal moving scene and the actor often times breaks character too easily.

I also noticed this particularly over at Livecamnetwork.com when I was trying to offer suggestions on poses and expressions only to be blown off with the ladies just wanting to make out or move around.

I would be happy to offer it again if interested. King Jeremy knows what I can offer. and some of the people here know I have had an extensive knowledge of ASFR.

I reupped for a month a little while back and basically nothing happend for the entire 30 days I was there. I think it turned into "members not renewing/signing up because of no new content which means no revenue to produce new content which means no new members and so on and so on until the site goes dark" type of thing. I hate to say it but our niche market may not be able to sustain a site with the talent and production quality that Ashley brought to the table. When it was good, it was very,very good. I just dont think they were making any money at it. I know some people had issues with the fembot content/acting but I feel pretty lucky that we got what we did, even if it was for a short time. I give Ashley credit for taking a gamble on a very specific idea and I wish for both our sakes it had panned out better. Hopefully she still makes fembot stuff for her C4S store.

That being said, maybe I'm wrong and they are still planning on going forward with the site, it just seems unlikely at this point.

I never was a big fan of ashley's videos.
Technicly her videos are awsome, the props and sets are outstanding for a medium budget porn producer in a niche that doesn't have many fans, BUT while some of the girls are realy are great at portraying a fembot (http://www.fembotwiki.com/index.php?tit ... ld-129.jpg i Always forget her name, but she was great so i don't get why she isn't used in more videos) , Ashley Always seems to........what is the best way to describe it...... over act.

If a stage actor stage-acts on film, the performance is TOO BIG. Our material is inherently more subtle than the interests of many groups, and I think Ashley's persona-size may derive from making the other videos for years before Scifidreamgirls. For dollies and wind-ups, that's about the right level of (over)-acting.
