What's the goal
Making explicit a sane, rational, enlightened stand, I suppose.

Nevertheless, I have tried several times to bring this thread back to a discussion of ways bots may be given personalities tailored to their owners. I am not the one going on about any other issues and I am not trying to tell anyone their preferences in robots are morally wrong or politically incorrect (two different things).

I don't think there's any less morality in designing a machine's behavior to suit one person as another. They're machines. My computer serves my interests, not Hugh Hefner's or Germain Greer's. So what?

OK, at the risk of being banned for life...
First up - as is by now painfully obvious, I've NOT been talking about your 'fembotic' preferences. I apologise again, but I'm not particularly interested in your chosen discussion. So how have I said anything regarding your fembot preferences is 'morally wrong'? I AGREE, machines are machines...

Initially I spoke up because you claimed you were being bullied.
But I have to say, calling most western women unpleasant and vindictive doesn't sound particularly rational or enlightened to me. Sounds extremely bitter. And I'm sorry if it seems like I'm trying to change you, but I'd prefer you to be happier and not have to resort to as-yet non-existant fembots for companionship. Most other people manage it. So in one way I'd be keen to have you meet someone nice. Not my business, so I'll drop it.

I'm also interested in the views of the members of this board not being mis-represented by omission of action. Yes, you're a member and equally entitled to your views. But I don't want people to get the impression that your view (regarding REAL women) is more widely held here than it is. That does NOT mean I do not want you to post! Just that I see a need to express an alternative opinion when you do (regarding real women).
The reason I've posted these last few times was because you seemed to be mis-representing what I'd said, or meant (implying I'm part of some imaginary 'thought police', for example). Perhaps a bit 'precious' of me, but I won't put up with that. No one is out to control your posts here.
Feel free - if I'm misrepresented, I'll just speak up again.
OK, on with YOUR discussion...

Xodar you make broad offensive comments about women, dismiss any alternative views as “fanatical”, then do the equivalent of staring dumbly wondering why people won't let the matter drop.

I will say nothing about your opinions Xodar, but your communication skills suck.

As the topic Xodar brought up, which I interpret to be what kind of personality you would program into a robot, is not a bad one I will start another thread on the subject.

Thanks. I hope the witch hunt stays here.

My observations are not anti-women. They are objective.
They seem not to be because everybody else is brainwashed.

I will say nothing about your options Xodar, but your communication skills suck.
But his spin is most impressive isn't it?

This is a pretty healthy fantasy for most people who visit. My wife who was skeptical at first when I introduced her to this site way back when it was just The Gynoid Gallery (no forum) now reads the posts here almost as religiously as I do, constructs scenarios for both of us to enjoy. One such scenario focused on the original topic of this thread.

There are however, always going to be people who have a different outlook and even in some instances a completely different agenda. I take Xodar posts with a grain of salt because I know at some point they will devolve into misogynistic woman bashing at some point.

That being said Xodar, you are obviously a very intelligent individual. I'm pretty certain you're a much more intelligent person than I am judging by your comments and arguments for your posts. It's a shame you let otherwise interesting topics turn into these type of threads with idiotic comments sprinkled about your posts.

I guess what I'm saying is I like what you bring to the table initially more often than not but I get disappointed and lose interest when it turns out to actually be the same old meatloaf disguised as something else time after time.

I hope the witch hunt remains here.

I simply began to suggest creating personalities, and personalities with some complexity. The PC witchfinders began sniffing about for thoughtcrime.

You resist intrusive bullies and rigid non-moralists by the means you have. I suppose there's sometimes collateral damage.
