Suppose as a theoretical exercise that somebody invented a machine, say a helmt you could put on, tha would enable you to reprogram yourself, as if you were programming a machine,m installing new compulsory behaviors, or forbidding behaviors, that you HAVE to obey, no choice exists until your next time in the machine.
What would you do to yourself? (And let's skip "change my diet", that one is so obvious and so universal as to be boring, unless it's a really unusual dietary change...)
You would remain flesh and blood human, only your behavior would be changed. But you could (for ex) make yourself compulsively submissive to someone, or totally resistant. You could force yourself to do things you hate or not do things you like, if you wanted to for some reason.
What nice or nasty things would you program yourself for?
Self programming people...

Hypnosis, NLP
Hypnosis can already do that to a certain extent. And so does NLP (Neural Linguistic Programming)
Look it up. It's the Tony Robbins infomercial stuff.
