Technosexual Meet in Los Angeles
Hey Guys,
I would love to start a Technosexual/ASFR munch in Los Angeles.
For those of you who aren't familiar with what a munch is, a munch is when a bunch of fetishists (like BDSM, or furries, or whatever) put aside their kinky persuasions, and just meet for dinner at a restaurant, and talk. They talk about anything, and it's a great social outing, and a great way to meet people.
Also, if anyone wants to friend me, or get to know me, it's easier to reach me on MySpace, at myspace.com/madshrimp
I'd love to meet anyone from the L.A., OC, Ventura, San Diego, or the Inland Empire also into ASFR.
Does anyone have any recommendations on restaurants or which day of the week?
Many Thanks,
Robot 7

To keep in the theme.... perhaps the restaurant should be a TEX-MEX ...(techs/mechs) ---sorry, I HAD to say it. Honestly, it's a nice idea for a meet and greet...but I'm afraid that some might shy away from a small gathering.... meeting at a CONVENTION or something, getting to know a few folks, and then off to dinner might be a little easier for some to respond to. --minkwheel

I would've LOVED to have met you while you're on the East coast... I am closer to NYC than Philly, but I certainly hope that you enjoy your stay in the CITY OF BROTHERLY LOVE, and that ISN'T SUPPOSED TO MEAN THAT ONLY GAY GUYS LIVE THERE... Philadelphia is loaded with American history, and a lot of wonderful folks ---but the city itself has a BEAUTIFUL side, .......aaaaand a seedy side...much like all cities. Please partake of a Philly CHEESESTEAK sandwich while there.... ask any native, and they will point you in the direction of a place that makes them 'THE WAY THEY'RE SUPPOSED TO BE MADE" .....the taste makes it one of the reasons that America stays chubby. Welcome to the East Coast! -- minkwheel

Thanks Minky,
Yes, I gather the north side has an interesting reputation to say the least. Thankfully I'm staying on the south side, near the airport which is my usual technique, especially given the hotels tend to be slightly cheaper (but not necessarily worse) that way rather than staying in the city.
I'm sure I will have a cheesesteak sandwich at some point on the holiday, thats for sure.
Looking forward to seeing some of the history as well as the shopping mall at some point! Oh, and a baseball game as well!

The Malls are rapidly becoming history themselves. 1/3 to 1/2 of the Plymouth Meeting Mall is empty, and these days, when a department store which "anchors" a mall closes, the smaller mall stores are headed for doom. The Gallery on Market St. isn't 20+ minutes away on the Expressway, but I find it to be claustrophobic. There's more light and air, and less crime out in the suburbs. The King of Prussia Mall is much larger, and the best place where you can witness the twilight of 20th century commercial culture. And an Apple Store, I know that hasn't shuttered its door.Stephaniebot wrote:Looking forward to seeing some of the history as well as the shopping mall at some point!
