ASFR in SF

Post by Stephaniebot » Fri Aug 10, 2007 12:50 pm

Going to be in and around the San Francisco area for a week next month, and though I dont expect to (wouldnt it be wonderful if I did!) find any scientists looking for robotisation volunteers I just wondered if there are any museums, attractions etc with a distinct ASFR type hint to them.
I've been told elsewhere of some place in San Jose worth visiting, just cant think of the name without checking back at present, but I dont mind a repeat tip for that anyway.

So assuming there are locals on here (or at least previous visitors to the area) are there any nice places that I should go to help quench my ASFR fetish.

Thanks in advance for any info offered.
I'm just a 'girl' who wants to become a fembot whats wrong with that?

Never been there myself, but it's my understanding that Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco has multitudes of street performers many of whom perform as robots. Not exactly what you're looking for I guess but just thought I'd throw that out there. If I'm not mistaken this is where Shields and Yarnell got their start.

No, But I did come across a song by a group called Son of Lurch called Sex Android.. wasn't able to get a dl of the mp3, but it did have a sizable sample.. this is what i got for the lyrics in that sample..
When she gets her wires crossed, thats when i get my salad Tossed
Sex Android...Sex Android
Her love-box self lubricates, She blows a fuse when she masturbates
Sex Android...Sex Android
I ordered her from the Internet, didn't take long...
She was manufactured in a factory in Hong Kong!
Hit it
Ahhhhh Ahhhh Ahhhh Ahhhh
Sex Android...Sex Android
My man-milk just wipes off clean, She got stainless steel skin cause she's a machine
Sex Android...Sex Android
(funky MOOG type music) and thats whee the clip ends..
Once you go Chrome, you're never alone

Shields and Yarnell -- I haven't seen them since sometime in the 70s. They had a comedy act called, I think, "The Clinkers", about a robotic couple.
What happened to them?

I'll forgive you RM.

Though any more tips from anyone would be appreciated.

Only 3 more weeks, yay...

Yes, sorry I got off topic, too.
I have been to San Francisco but it was around 1974. My impression is that it's stunningly beautiful. We didn't stay more than about a week since jobs were hard to find and my buddy began having problems with the girl who'd invited him to come stay with her. (Like inviting me to spend the night in her room.)
You'll find it a place worth visiting if economics and psychodrama don't intrude.
