The first episode of this series is already out, and I believe it can be seen on the SVT website, but (as expected) it's quite region-locked.

I've tried proxies, but I've never managed to actually get that to work, and I also failed tonight

So keep your eyes out for online rips of the pilot and such.

I second that opinion. After being impressed by the tone and the visuals, I'm just waiting for subtitled versions to pop up on the interwebs to watch it again.

Companies often buy rights just to sit on them or resell them, Kishin. There are hundreds of novelists out there paying their rent with cheques from companies holding the film rights to their books, despite the fact that no films will ever be made of them.

However, one of the articles linked to on the site that first puzzled this out from the web ads does say that a UK version is already in production (it should be at the start of this post, or Robotman's original post about the mystery videos).

I've seen every episode, including last night's, and it's looking better every week, even though I can't understand a thing they're saying. I suppose it's a credit to the writers that the basic plot points of the show are not difficult to follow despite the language barrier (The subtitles for the first episode have only been available since last week, but, thanks, kind bilingual swedish person; You are doing God's work).

Of particular interest to this board is the plot about the "Real Humans" organization- who seem to be on a downward spiral from just a political activism group, to violent terrorist organization bent on making their point through acts of android vandalism. Thanks to the main characters, who throughout the first three episodes are transforming into violent fringe elements, it seems like this might lead up to some larger scale violence that could lead to a couple of human deaths and several more scenes of maimed and malfunctioning androids (of which there have been plenty already).

It is all looking tres magnifique.

Can't wait for the rest of the subtitle files to be available in the coming weeks, just so I can get the dialogue details.

Not "subtitled video", more like subtitles for your video.

If you already have the original .avi file, download the subtitle track here http://www.addic7ed.com/show/2219

They've only made english subtitles for the first episode so far.

All you have to do is open up and play the .avi file with VLC, then go to "Video", then "Subtitle Track", then "open file" and choose the SRT file you just downloaded from addic7ed.

Hope this clears things up
