Robo-Girl Calendar

Post by Robo_Sugar » Tue Jul 05, 2011 3:47 pm

Hello Guys!

My girlfriends and I are thinking of making a calendar done in android style. What are some of the things that you would like to see?

<3 Sugar
"She said come on, come on, kiss my battery,
Come on, come on, I'll be your android girl,
She said come on, come on, kiss my battery,
Come on, come on and fuck this whole wide world..."

Ummm... Yeah... What I MEANT to say was that I can do some photo manip, so the best things are poses. Not ridiculously stiff (i.e. karate chop hands) but more like mannequin poses that seem frozen and a bit detached. Building on Kishin's suggestion, to have another girl (fembot) perhaps in a revealing lab coat appear to be working on another one with a blank or even phony stewardess-like alert-but-blank smile. Speaking of stewardesses, sexy costumes always help. Sometimes not looking directly into the camera works as well. It would help if you had props like a screw driver or soldering gun or anything tool-like with wires running off them. If you could position yourselves with a photo-shopped area in mind, all the better. I'm just sayin'
:thumbsup:

... you ladies/guys/kildroids/time travelers don't need to listen to me ;< but you know, there are a lot of normally reoccurring scenarios and features:
like the robot police girl
the robotbabe from space
the half showing the inners and the half showing the girl
the girl dismantled.
the girl in the scrapyard
the girl that pop out screws and springs.
the wind up toy.
the maid.
Damage here, damage there.
plug here, plug there.
panel for this and panel for that.
opened head.
opened belly.
opened chest.
and then the poses too.
just helping :>

i already see it hanging in the mechanical shops...
personally i don't like "im going to kill you" expressions... 'Barbie' face is always a winner
and 'blush' by your footnote :3

Very good ideas! Thank you for the suggestions! It'll be a free calendar for those who want it. We really just want an excuse to get dolled up haha. A few of the girls are robot enthusiasts like myself. We LARP characters that have mechanics for the most part. Ms. January is a wind up doll in game.

AWESOME ! ! ! I don't think you'll have a problem finding people who want it here ;)
Blank stares or phony placid expressions are always good. I'll have to agree with Battery about the mean "I'm going to kill you" expressions, but I've always been partial to assassinbots casually doing their jobs :D

P.S. PM me if you have any kind of ideas for Photo-shop in mind that you would like me to add panels etc.

Then you gotta know that you can sell it in conventions! i remember that in the 2007 san diego comic-con there was a... (guy?) that made a IMAGE book about robot girls but very dark and industrial. not very appealing...i don't remember the name...

I don't know if I would sell it. I think that it would be nice to give it away. Some of the girls, like myself, are tattooed and others aren't. I've noticed that most of the men who message me on here like their bots without tattoos and piercings. Do you think that its a nice split to do a few months with the tats/piercings and a few without?

There will be costumes. I know that one of the girls is doing a Baby Doll from Suckerpunch as a bot. Another reason we can't sell this particular one. Copywrites. I'm going to do a Harley with a Mr. J robot of sorts.

wow...that's very tough...while japanese mafia looking heavy tattoed girls might be with out redemption anything else can be removed with the magic of a computer with a good videocard and photoshop... and if it is for the pleasure of share then no one can criticize it*
my guess is that
tatoos= wild spirit
robot= Lack of spirit
robot =/= tatoos ?
unless is a bar code or similar...

No worries. A tat can be covered up by costume or exposed circuits but it's all good :wink: BABYDOLL FEMBOT from Sucker Punch!!! :party: I'm liking this more and more! And if your avatar is any indication, you have nothing to worry about :D

My tattoos are actually baby robots. I have my shoulder caps covered and the top of my foot. Not many and they are adorable.

I agree. Some guys just love a blank canvas. Most of the guys who want to play want me void of tats. Which is fine. I knew they weren't for everyone when I got em.

I'm ambivalent towards tattoos. While I'd prefer no tats, they're not a turn-off if they're there.

Never thought tats would be a problem. I do not tat or pierce because my father scared me out of it long ago by offering to use industrial machinery to do it. Hahaha.

A good point.

Permanent, chosen, permitted - tattoos imply a personal agenda, either hers or that of some owner (who isn't you, since you didn't choose the tat).

For those of us who enjoy non-sentient, non-persons, any strong sign of Ego like a tat might suggest major design flaws.

I like tats. Especially, tats that are creative and unconventional.

I like Androids. To me, theres no reason why an Android girl should not have tattoos or piercings, but It's all a matter of taste, to me :)

The tat thing must align with what personality level you expect. Since I expect androids to have personalities, I expect everything that tends to come with one. Also the age of the android too, one would expect a used android to have non-factory items rather than show room blankness, and I also tend to be more attracted to androids with atleast some history too.

Thank you! I'm definitely feeling pretty with an exposed panel. That should be a movie...Pretty in Panel, featuring Molly Ringbot.
