History

Post by power2007 » Thu Mar 10, 2011 7:32 pm

Yeah, the history is about a scientist(look his NERD face) who lost his wife in an accident, and created a female android to replace her. It will be a comedy soap opera, and I readed that the history was based in the " METROPOLIS" movie, from 1924. The history of the android will be " shooted" with another history about dynossaurs(???). I don´t know exactly what the purpose, but just FLAVIA ALESSANDRA(the android) is just enough.

Interesting. It doesn't seem too much like a comedy from that latest clip, but I really do appreciate the background. Thanks again for letting us all know about this! I'm looking forward to it even if I can't completely understand :D

On this one, I can turn on captions then select to automatically translate Spanish to English with seemingly adequate accuracy.

For some reason the CC is in Spanish, or at least that's what it says: I didn't get a choice of CC language. Regardless, the translation to English was pretty good with some common pronoun hiccups and the like.

I sometimes had problems comparing Spanish with Portuguese.

Globo channel

Post by Mirage » Wed Mar 16, 2011 5:29 pm

I have the channel Globo and watch Brasilien novellas (soap opera) everyday with my wife, who is brasilien. She gave me a look when the commercial played. (She knows about my fetish here, but it plays no part in our lives).

Brasilien soap opera are excellent! they last 6 months, and the subjects are amazing, can be comedy, romance, even horror. I won't deny, I don't mind watching them, even I barely understand porteguise. And man, brasiliens women are sexy and hoooottt, I should know, I married one!

I will watch this show for sure. Funny part, I am also a huge dino/archeologist freak. They manage to merge to of my favorite thinsg together! (L)

I watched a bit, and to be honest, it's a snore fest. Very boring soap opera compared to many I seen... and nnnooo panels, repairs, nothing..

Yes it is.

I saw the video with the open head panel. As nice as it was, they didn't really do anything with it. Lots of opportunity there wasted :P
