Seeking critique on collar mod.

I've been making a bunch of mods for honey select, and I've been mostly satisfied with them but I'm unsure about this collar.

I can't decide if it looks okay or if it looks horribly unnatural.

Pretty cool - there seems to be a texture seam on the side but that'll probably be hidden by hair or blend in in most case. Is it colorable ?

Not in game (as far as I know).

It's made via the bodytexmod so you can just alter the png.

I'm find this weirdly easier then just normal maniping. You just take a picture, place it on the overly, and the program does most of the work. Sure you've got to take into account distortions, and you have keep reloading the program to see if it looks right...

Except collars; collars are hard. You have to deal with 2 sides, take into account distortions, and match them up.

Edit: Oh, Major oversight! It requires Illusion Plugin Architecture (IPA) by EusthEnoptEron; It's part of the second link, but you can find it elsewhere if you look (if you don't want to trust an .exe); you actually have to move the application files on to IPA to apply the plugins.

Well I have no problem sharing.

First you need the SkinTexMod by Alexae

(Also before doing any of this it's best make a backup of the game just in case.)

This will be accessed by pressing J in any of the programs, this will bring up a jewel icon on all characters present, click the jewel on the character you want, and it will bring up a list of mods.

Once you have that you need an overlay, there are several included. Check \Plugins\SkinTexMod\Output, both face and body; they are however scaled to 1024x1024, and 4096x4096 seems to be the norm, so best increase there scale or find one already at 4096 (I found one on hongfire).

Once you have that, go into Plugins\SkinTexMod\Textures and make a folder. Open your 4096x4096 overlay and create a new layer.

I have provided a everything and it's kitchen sink png for reference so you can see how it all connects and works (Though feel free to use and modify it as you please.)

Once you have your modifications, save your layer as a transparent .png, move that .png to your folder.

There should already be folders in Textures; open one of them and copy the Config and move it to your folder; open it in notepad and make the following adjustments.

FaceTex=png:(Name of Face png with extension)

You can also put another image file in the folder and call it Preview, and this will be the image you see when you open the list of mods, if you put nothing it will just show the folder name.

That's basically it, it's all trial and error from there.
