Upgrades, Malware Removal, touchBB

Fembot Central has gone through its first major upgrade in recent years, converting from the phpBB2 to the most recent version of phpBB3. This brings us new security and new features, some of which will be rolled out in the upcoming weeks.

Due to the utf-8 based handling of passwords in phpBB3 some passwords may not have transfered properly. If you experience issues logging in, please use the "forgotten password" function.
Don't fear our mascot being absent. She will return along with forum theme tweaks.
Support for touchBB has been added, as requested in the Comments forum.

Please let the staff know if you encounter any issues or errors.

every time i get out of the page and then return it logs out despite the options ...just that, maybe it's only me.

bbcode and smilies are off for me even though in the options i clicked on "YES" to "enable" them. why?

also yeah, it still logs me out each time i close the browser

It will not let me log in on Google Chrome. It only let me log in on Internet Explorer 9.

I have also noticed it isn't updating the number of posts I have made. It is stuck at 128.

Both of these issues should be fixed now, though I cannot retroactively adjust post counts. It seems these issues only occurred in this forum, but do let me know if you come across it in other areas of the site & I will make the proper adjustments.

With this upgrade to the forums we went through an entire database conversion, which was no small ordeal. In the process the new system made some assumptions about what we'd like for our settings choices, so we are doing our best to fine tune Fembot Central to best serve our members.

yes now it remembers that i'm logged in and i can has smilies and bbcode

It still won't let me log in using Chrome. I have to use IE9 to log in.

You have dumped your cookies, restarted the browser, and it still won't work? If so, please provide more details as to what occurs when attempting to log in. Chrome is also my browser of choice and I have suffered no login issues from the start, so this is a real head scratcher.

It just keeps loading the same page over and over. Instead of saying I am logged in, it stays on the login page.

I am using Google Chrome 12.0.742.9.

Okay, I managed to fix it. Apparently I needed to obliterate all cookies from the beginning of time; it was only obliterating them from the last hour.

Just to mention the site is running very erratically for me tonight, either working as per normal, or getting no connection available message. Happening about 50% of times I try to link to a page.

Qorking on Windows 7, either IE8, or maybe 9, as someone has been working on my laptop today while at work, and not sure if upgraded or not.

Every other site I've been too is fine
