Cameron's combination of physicality and naivite have added sexual tension from the beginning of the series, and having her as the protector of a teenage boy is an obvious nod to fanboys.

The writers obvously thought about a sexual relationship between her and john. I thought the way they addressed it was clever - through the Sexy/Creepy lens of Cromartie's memories.

And right in the middle of the Fatal Attraction flashback, Cameron sensually touches John.

I wouldn't be surprised to see some Robot Control-like femme fatales in the next season, in the mindfuck style of Basic Instinct.

SPOILER ALERT

Hi all!

Just watched the finale of the series so it's all fresh in my head.

I'm really looking forward to Season 2 but with the explosive cliffhanger my only worry is that Summer Glau may be replaced by a new actress. Has anyone heard definitively that she has no commitments that would prevent her return for a second season?

The reason I say that is that an explosion that fierce is likely to destroy her fleshy bits which means she will have to rebuild that part of her (maybe synthesised from the bits she saved from the Vick terminator). That gives the producers the perfect plot device with which to change actresses if they need to. I'm not saying they will (and hope not - I LOVE Summer Glau!) but it's a possibility....

Tonight I can see the first episode in Hong Kong! Summer Glau looked not bad, she has a tough face looked like a robot, but the voice seems too gentle. Even when she robbed the bank, she used a sweet voice to threaten the people around. It's a bit funny.

Sooooo...... Anybody catch the episode tonight? Cameron should be toast, but they couldn't do that. She's the only reason anybody's watching.

Go through all the trouble of wiring the baptismal font for electrocution and then can't find the proper screwdriver to pull out her chip? Yikes. Bad planning.

And then near the end we see the return of the liquid mercury version of terminator. Surely you jest?! No, it's the truth.

Borias...I'm sorry, but the show sucks. I've seen every episode, and every episode so far has sucked. And I'm not even enjoying it from an ASFR perspective: way too may off-putting aspects, the second season premiere being a prime example. It's frankly injustice that a show this mediocre gets a second season while most of the best ones on Fox for the last ten years haven't been granted a single one, just because it's the Terminator, a franchise which has been milked dry anyway. The market is broken.

There, I've said my peace. Now that is the first and last time I will speak on this subject. We're better off to have this show go under, and the money go to another, better show in the hopes of a couple of particularly on-point episodes.

Plots en stuff? Bah. I just like watching the Cameron bot. And she is exactly my type of asf, ..., as...., whatever you call it.

The shapeshifting silver woman? Not so much. In fact, not at all.

Snot-nosed John has to get his ass kicked, though. And that Derek character is p***y-whipped, and he ain't even getting any p***y. Oh well. I'll be watching every episode until it goes off the air.
