Recent Downtime + Upcoming Downtime

Post by KOS-MOS » Tue Feb 20, 2007 12:34 am

Sorry about the recent downtime. You shouldn't notice any changes to FC at this point, but another (much shorter) bout of downtime in the near future will result in various improvements to the site and it's systems.

I was beginning to worry as well, but I can imagine how much work maintaining all this is, and if anything, the downtime underscored HOW MUCH I VALUE THIS COMMUNITY. Thanks for the work, and look forward to any upgrades.

Oh yes! Thanks god!! And thanks KOS-MOS of course. I was getting scared - even googled for "fembotcentral down?" Could you please put a little more description on the "retooling" page the next time so I won't need so much beta blockers?

I'll echo that--not being able to check in on the site made me crazy, but I appreciate the hard work that goes into keeping things running. Thanks, KOS-MOS!

The downtime was actually valueable for me, personally. It made me realize how important this little corner of the internet was to me.

Three cheers for KOS-MOS and all the admins, moderators, and contributors!
