Doc Robo's shameless plea for votes

The first stage of voting in the "Bondage Awards" (www.bondageawards.com) has wrapped up, and HIPcomix.com is proud to announce that we have received a total of SIX nominations in four different categories - including yours truly for "Best Writer"! According to the Bondage Awards folks they were bombarded with more than 22,000 nomination votes this year, so even though this may sound cliche it is truly an honor just to be nominated!

I would like to ask that even though these are not mind control-themed awards, that you all take a moment to click on this link (http://www.bondageawards.com/stage_two_voting.asp) and vote for ol' Doc Robo in the "Best Writer" category. I also ask that you drop in a vote for HIPcomix.com in the "Best Pay Website" category and either Finister Foul or Uroboros in the "Best Artist" category. How do you choose which one to vote for? I guess it comes down to whether you are a "Metrobay Universe" fan or a "Mad Science" fan!

This year's Bondage Awards results are in. HIPcomix came in a respectable 6th place, one slot higher than last year. The site is nestled directly between our friends at Superheroine Central (5th) and Jpeger's collaborative partner Ashley Renee (7th). Yours truly somehow managed an 8th place finish in the Best Writer category... which is hard to imagine because I am not really a bondage writer, as many of you well know.
