but also, for decades to come our cultural heroes will pass away by the score - you have to brace your self.

It's a reflection of the power of media (versus 80 or 100 years ago), the rising population of entertainment figures and musicians, and of your capacity to appreciate heroes - of your Love. So you see, we were boned and pwned from the start.

What, we shouldn't have given our hearts away to the licks and the lyrics? I should laugh... but there are too many gone, so many yet to go. When I have no defenses, as in grief for the artist, the full impact and insight of Great works are devastating - like they should be every time.

All planes come to ground. The wish for all: fly very far, and land with gentle grace. Passing heroes is our climate, not the weather.
