But how does bad mood helps you when you are on Valium?
Let's not even discuss what the Germans are going to do to us.
Really, the German team did a good match but they sometimes tend to play like Bayern München - and fail at the attempt.

So close! So damn close! Great cross by Ronaldo at the very, very end. Still a better result for the US than I thought it would be even though that last second goal was a killer. Need a good result against Germany now.

At least a draw. Remember both matches in each group are played at the same time. Ghana and Portugal might mean something.

The Portugal-Ghana match is the interesting one. The US team is through even if they lose, if Portugal wins against Ghana with less then 5 goals difference (likely). If Ghana wins, the US is through when Ghana wins with less than 3 goals difference. For the German team, the numbers are 9 and 5 respective. So the German team is nearly qualified, all because Portugal did such a shameful job in their first match.

Well, they made it through. It wasn't pretty but it's on to the next match. Belgium could go either way but then it's most likely Argentina if they should happen to advance. If nothing else this has been an entertaining Cup. "Free Suarez"

Belgium totally outplayed us but I'll be damned if that 30 minutes of extra time wasn't some of the most exciting soccer I've ever seen. Congrats to Belgium. Tim Howard is a beast.
