Almost every time I post a message on here these days, after hitting 'submit,' I get an empty browser page (as if the site has crashed).
The message posts, but I have to manually navigate back to the site, and then my own message comes up as unread for me.
Forum bug?

The most likely cause is that the hosting provider upgraded PHP (the language in which phpBB is written) to version 8 or above which causes glitches in older versions of phpBB. I'm not a mod here, but I manage another board such as this and I've run into that problem.
