Art and a competition

Post by Tio » Thu Dec 20, 2007 12:51 pm

Hello

I have recently done a pen work pic of the Tio Bot unit.

http://deep-siren.deviantart.com/art/Tio-Bot-72567268

BUT I dont do digital art and thus it isnt coloured :(

Thus I am holding a colouring competition!
Colour it in, send me the pic and I shall choose the one I like best and they shall win a fembot type prize! Might be art, might be a story, might even be some photos (though those wont be rude!)

Thank you

Tio

Yes, This thread is a competition to color the pick I posted. All entries are required by the 11th of January so I may judge them as per the instruction I posted.

Though I realise this thread has been hijacked somewhat.

Tio, I haven't been here in a while. How can I send my entry to you? Also, can we only send in one or will you consider multiple entries?

BTW, thanks for posting the drawing. It's been fun colorizing it.

If you put the entry on a gallery such as flickr, livejournal scrapbook or deviant art then just leave the link.

If you dont have one then please private message me and I will give you an address to send it via email.

You may put in multiple entries if you wish.

Art contribution...

My technocolor version of your awesome drawing is located at:

Sorry I posted it as a comment earlier on your Deviant page, Tio, but I had a little problem joining this forum and I was not sure I could make your deadline. The situation though was resolved swiftly.

This is my first attempt at shadowing a colored drawing, and I surprised myself by learning the technique with help from a very good Photoshop tutor webpage. So I am already a winner.

Your interest as an artist and a model in a male dominant website intrigues me. Have you thought of merging the two interests?

Rob

Cheers for the compo Tio. :)

The link does work. I didn't notice the ear issue until you mentioned it!

I just uploaded my entry. I went with an Alita kind of look, I guess.
Should be at:

Also uploaded a really old sketch - so old, it features genuine 80s hair!
