Alright man!

Poor lil Motoko, her franchise is getting more and more fucked with each new iteration. Not that it was all that great to begin with.
I might draw her again in the near future.

Ah, the original manga series was fairly good, though it had too many loose ends even back then, 20 years ago. From the story line it seemed to me Shirow had wanted to continue Appleseed, but he got on the slippery slope by creating those sexy female cyborg characters (mostly the ones from the side stories) and –in particular– drawing cybernetic women doing themselves with their little cybernetic helpers.

I approve that  , but it pulled him away from storytelling and made him create GINOs, dozens and dozens of.

Shirow is still my hero but I think he's totally broke.

If anything he's not broke enough, if he were lacking money he might actually put out decent content again.

The thing is that in 95 all of his work got destroyed in the Kobe earthquake, including all the stuff he was going to release for Appleseed, Orion, and Dominion. and simultaneously, the Ghost in the Shell movie was a success, so his editor forced him to continue that manga to rake in extra money instead of working on the projects he lost; and since then, Shirow simply hasn't had the motivation or the need to draw anything but porn, which I don't even find as hot as his actual comics.

So all in all I'm a bit (extremely) bitter about the success of the Ghost in the Shell franchise, because I think it encourages Shirow to be lazy; and I'd rather have him make more good comics than watch yet another butchered adaptation of his works.

Sorry for the rant.

Battery, I'm loving that detached head picture, you found a nice way to work around the fact that she has a brain to still make her malfunction and that's neat.

Ah, broken. Sorry.

I thought that was a lame excuse back then, I think he's lost something more important than artwork in the Kobe earthquake.
which I don't even find as hot as his actual comics.
Same here.

Ah, they remade the Appleseed movie. Again and again. But the first movie had been soooo wrong (despite its success) and what we're seeing is a re-iteration of it...

I want to imitate the dialog boxes some of you use or used to use when creating manipulations.
So i did my best to imitate english too, but please tell me if i got something wrong:

Is not that Satoru disliked being the personal repairman/technician of Chief Director Aloise 03.
In fact, the pay was very good and she was brilliant. Is just that he never expected her to be such a Naughty robot with such extravagant behaviors.
Even in middle of the week the chief would have all crazy kinds of Orgies and parties as if she was a goddamn character from the Marquis de Sade. He would arrive as soon as her alarm system activated and would be either offline or malfunctioning badly. Last week one of her hands was aggressively removed with what seems was a fire axe and deeply inserted on her anus, when removed, a jet of cocaine was ejected from her insides until it made a pile. The other day he found her on her knees with her chest cavity pry open with her electronics shorted on Vodka while sporting an ecstasy face. A screw driver pierced one of her eyes and other time her battery exploded successfully scattering her peripherals all over her terrace. One day all parts of her body seemed on place, he was puzzled, but then "bodily fluids" started oozing from her nostrils and mouth. He would insert some modesty on her if it not where that she never used the same brain a day and one of his first tasks was to make her tamper-proof. He had been offered a fortune for reprogramming her by rivals and competitors. But Satoru has always been loyal to his employers and the chief would not be the exception. According to Aloise 03 calculations, Satoru would work for her until he died from old age.

This is going to be delightful, Contessa Is not the kind of android that malfunctions or has a submissive personality.
She must really have a bad time when the Castle is open to public.

Hello Mr. Battery.
I'm sorta new here and I've seen a lot of your awesome drawings as my time as a lurker. I wish that I can draw as well as you but I don't have the know-how or experience to do so. I have a little idea that I wish for you to draw. I don't know if I have to write it here or send a message but the thing I wish for you to draw is similar to that drawing you made of where there were a bunch a robo-girl cops broken in a street. My vision is somewhat similar except:
-There are a bunch of robot maids instead of the cops (more specifically that Saya maid robot that you drew before.)
-Said maids are destroying each other (how they destroy themselves is up to you) while other maids are in numerous states such as one having its head torn of or one that has it's limbs broken, etc.
-The setting should be in a mansion.

If you want to draw it, you can add your own things to it and even put some little easter eggs for people to find. Thank you.
My Friend: "There are 2 kinds of people in the world, those who suck and those who don't suck. You, my friend, suck."
Me: *puts on sunglasses* "And you swallow."
YEEEEAAAAAAAAAAHHHH

-Avatar made by Battery. Thanks, friend
