british comic judge dredd megazine issue 4.15 includes, among other things, a 12-page story called the girlfriend, by john wagner and carlos ezquerra.

it concerns a young man whose parents buy him a sexy robotic girlfriend. tragedy ensues. however, gratuitous soft-focus nudity, tight clothing, clipped speech, malfunctions, sexual references and a flip up control panel also ensue, which is why we thought you might be interested.

the cover features leather-clad fetish sci-fi vampire babe durham red, for those of you who like that sort of thing too.

Totally missed that issue, will have a look for it.

Btw - a good hack for scanning is to photocopy the subject and fax it over to yoursef....

Then just extract the images and save as whatever from your fax app.
