Fallout 4 Mods...

I managed to find another synth related mod...

Still it's currently on PC. X-BOX 1 users are SUPPOSED to get mods today. (May 31st) So I am going to keep checking. Now then the mod itself....

Ok mod name...On Fallout 4 nexus look for Wintermute! Warning their are TWO versions one male and one female. Also its on Besthesda.net (That's how console user would download and install mods.)

Ok the good part is that you can customized her appearance. The picks show her shutdown mode.

latelly, browsing mods for fallout 4 in the nexus i got across this this cyberpunk themed mod i think it would be intresting, becouse slow download speed here i've not still tested it but i will make you know :wink:

ok after some hours spent in play fallout, yesterday, well that mod is a good hack mode, it gives you a sort of overcoat for your skin if you wear the clothes you craft at the chem station and upgrade at the blacksmith workbench, it comes in various modifications and can be customized when you upgrade them making you almost godlike, a good fun mod to use if you have atleast finished the whole maingame widouth 'cheats' and use this mod for a new run :3

YOU CAN REMOVE THE HEIGHT RESTRICTION?!?!?!?

Finally, my four-story masterpiece at Sanctuary can have a roof over the production machinery on the roof, instead of just open sky!

Also, I totally beelined for that island settlement as soon as I got the plans for the synth facility.

Hey Guys, definitely check out the SynthGirl iCompanion mod!

You can customize your robot body texture, and it can be applied to the player character as well as the companions~ The mod includes so many flavours that satisfy all tastes! My personal favourite is this: damaged realistic body with dancing blue sparks :mrgreen:

I didn't see this one posted, or on the Wiki. It's similar to the female synth mod, except it makes the texture files exclusive to a female PC, so if you want to play as a fembot-Nora without forcing the textures on other female characters, then this mod does that. There are some pre-reqs, and the instructions are in Japanese, but I got it to work on the first go round. The trick is to install the required mod first using NMM, then manually dump the texture files of your choice in the new directory.

And this mod makes the synthetic power armor voice persist even when you aren't wearing any power armor. It works as a good robot voice for a female PC.

Had the same issue. I think it happens when you modify a companion as well, or something? I think that mod uses "Skin 1" and then any NPC that gets changed uses "skin 1" as well, thus every NPC using "skin 1" gets that skin.

Or... something along those lines from when I screwed around with it. I wound up ditching it.

Yeah, this mod (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/9348/?) makes it so that the PC has a discreet texture. You have to install it first. It creates a new directory that only the PC uses for textures. Then you dump either the white or skin-tone fembot texture into the new directory. I just ended up dragging and dropping it. Different instructions for different body types:
How to use

VanillaBody version
1. Choose either for men or women, depending on the sex of the player character.
※ Each competes.

2. Please use NMM for installation, or manually copy it to the DATA folder of fallout 4.
3. Please copy your favorite skin texture to the following directory.
* Texture for confirmation test is included.

Female player character directory
data / textures / actors / character / PlayerHumanFemale /
Male player character directory
data / textures / actors / character / PlayerHumanMale /

※ Both male and female Vanilla body shape back occipital texture,
There seems to be a designation to use the same thing as body texture somewhere,
Once installed, it can be used as it is, NPC has another texture.
So the Vanilla Body version works only with installation.
If the texture differs only in the back of the head, try the same procedure as for the CBBE version.
The preset face 01 is different from Vanilla because it is processing the same as CBBE version.


CBBEBody version
1. Please use NMM for installation, or manually copy it to the DATA folder of fallout 4.

2. Start the game. After confirming that the skin is blue,
Use the console etc. to enter face edit, select preset face 01.
The back of the head also makes the skin blue.
* There are also parts that do not become blue depending on the parts being used.

3. Save and exit the game.

4. Copy your favorite skin texture to the following directory.
* Texture for confirmation test is included.

Female player character directory
data / textures / actors / character / PlayerHumanFemale /

5. Restart from the save data and edit it again to your favorite face.
* If you select a preset face other than 01, the back of the head will be restored.


When using existing face data in the CBBE version
The last ID on the file after using Face Ripper may be different.

Things to prepare
FO4Edit
Face Ripper
Save data with face data

1. Unzip the downloaded Unique_Skin_Textures_CBBE.7z,
PresetFemale 1 _Override_CBBE.esp
Unique_Skin_Textures_CBBE.esp
Into the fallout4 \ Data folder.

1 '. For manual installation
Also the two folders of Materials and textures of Unique_Skin_Textures_CBBE which decompressed
Put it in the Data folder of fallout 4.

2. In Flash Ripper, from the save file containing the face data
Copy the data to the override esp file [PresetFemale1_Override_CBBE.esp] in the DATA folder.

3. After confirming that [PresetFemale1_Override_CBBE.18B5F7.esp] has been generated,
Delete the original [PresetFemale1_Override_CBBE.esp] file from the DATA folder.
Rename [PresetFemale1_Override_CBBE.18B5F7.esp] to [PresetFemale1_Override_CBBE.esp].

4. Start FO4 Edit, check [Preset Female 1 _Override _ CBBE.esp], and press OK.
Open [Preset Female 1 ...] and select EditoeID: Preset Female 1 in Non-Player Character (Actor).
Look for the item of [Head Parts] from the left end column of the right frame, and in the top row of the column marked [Preset Female 1 ...]
Change [FemaleHeadHumanRearTEMP ...] to [Player_FemaleHeadHumanRearTEMP ...].
Exit and save FO4Edit.

When using 4 '. NMM
In the Unique_Skin_Textures_CBBE \ Data folder, in the fallout4 \ Data folder
PresetFemale 1 _Override_CBBE.esp
Unique_Skin_Textures_CBBE.esp
Overwrite.
7 z, zip, rar Compress every Unique_Skin_Textures_CBBE folder in any format and load it with NMM.

5. Please copy your favorite skin texture to the following directory.
* Texture for confirmation test is included.
Female player character directory
data / textures / actors / character / PlayerHumanFemale /
6. Start up the game, go into face edit, select preset face 01,
After confirming that it became the same face as save data, finish face edit.

7. It will be completed if you save it.


uninstall
Please uninstall manually or with NMM.

When using CBBE version of NMM, [Preset Female 1 _Override _ CBBE.esp] may remain in the Data folder.
After deleting the MOD data, the CBBE version will not display the back of the head in save data after introducing Unique Skin Textures.
Choose an appropriate preset with face edit,
Please copy face data before introducing Unique Skin Textures to save file with Face Ripper.


Notes
Only texture data is unique.
We do not check the operation except in the Japanese version.

Additional notes
Since there is a MOD designating the face texture of the player character on the NPC,
There is a possibility of conflict with MOD which changes NPC's face texture.

Note
MOD creation motive
I want to improve the skin color of skin texture,
Because it can not be consistent with NPC's face texture.
Although the texture for confirmation is badly colored.

Many steps
The texture of the back of the head is separate from CBBE,
And head data including the back of the head are stored in the save data,
Only solutions via presets could find a solution.

He is ferefering to the PC versionof the game. NOT the consoles!!!!!

Also some of the mods therefore uses the Nexus Mod Manager NOT Besthesda.net! Please keep that in mind.

I have no idea how similar / different modding is between Skyrim and Fallout 4, though they both use I think similar creation tools so there's probably some overlap. The way I made my Skyrim NPC was basically following a guide that walked me through setting up a custom follower based on a preexisting one, then tweaking it as I saw fit. Took what the guide showed me and applied the same stuff behind it to other things to make new enemies in the game, as well.

It shouldn't be that hard to do, so I'd say it's worth looking into. I mean, I'm no pro, and even I whipped up an NPC who worked with combat features, unique dialog lines based on where you are and what you're fighting, and even had it work with a few in-game systems like Skyrim's marriage one.

Questing, though, is an entirely different beast. That's a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge PITA from what I could tell. Far easier to add an NPC or an item to the game.

Also something something LooksMenu facial presets which are probably stored as a .xml or something on your computer machine so you can make sharing easier.
