I got it, with a fair amount of difficulty.
The download button did nothing.
I pulled the URL from the page's source code.
The browser plug-in for pdfs couldn't read it.

What I figured out was happening for me was that two of the three Linux PDF readers couldn't translate this and the third one only displays a single page.

I think commercial PDF generators are producing code that's harder and harder for old PDF readers.

Let me guess the file was produced with some commercial desktop publishing program.

Obviously, adobe doesn't give a shit and not very many other folks do either.

I can only use the built-in deviantart viewer successfully about half the time, but the download button on it gave me a perfectly good copy.

I'm using a full version of Creative Cloud & acrobat, rarely have pdf issues.
