Just did a quick scan of episode 2x01...no Lucy in this episode.

I just saw the first episode of Season 2, and I think (shock!) the changes might actually make the show good, even aside from Lucy. And although Lucy looks like she's going to be a very old story not really waiting to be told again, there's some promise in it if they stay true to the mythology of the show. They definitely appear willing to take risks, and are also surprisingly OK with sexual situations for a broadcast network show. Both good signs. I'm back in as a viewer for now.

Lucy made her appearance in the second episode. A short scene involving her activation, adapting to her body, and accidentally using super-strength to crush a man's hand.

By the sounds of things, she was rushed to completion too quickly and may experience some malfunctions down the road...fingers crossed.

Well, I think they're setting up a resolution where Ethan has to become the superstrong soldier they're trying to create in order to shut the project down. But his now-basically-retconned father did say a couple of times in the early episodes, if I remember correctly, that Ethan's lack of strength was more a software limitation than a hardware issue. Julie said something similar about Lucy last night.

So, now we have an ethically challenged fembot who thinks it is alright to shoot up a school full of children if a terrorist happens to be hiding amongst them. Interesting...

...and seems to prefer sexy dresses over conservative sweaters. Dig.

Well, now they are ready to activate about a 100 more Humanichs, several of which are female. Hopefully we'll get to see some nice action when they are in combat.

In the most recent episode, Lucy gets shot in the torso and has much of the skin blown off, showing her internal mechanisms. Multiple repair scenes, ending with her eventual shutdown as her behavior becomes more intolerable.

The only other particularly interesting moment is the previous, the 6-7 combo, where she makes the moves on her designer.

I'm not 100% sure but from the looks of the trailer at the end of last nights episode, I think there will be a Halle Berry humanic in next weeks season finale. They showed the two of them fighting each other and since they are mass producing humanics it seems to be the logical jump. Just wanted to let you guys know about it either way.

Well, there was an adult black female Humanich in last night's episode. I didn't get to see the entire episode, but there was a brief scene where a component is inserted into her neck.

Season finale:
Alright, there were a few brief scenes involving the construction of the Molly Woods humanich, then a nice one near the end of the Humanich having it's power core ripped out. Aside from that, not much to see.

Unfortunately CBS has decided to cancel this series after only two seasons.
