Yes I know this movie because I french and it called "Le gendarme et les extraterrestre" (1979). Aliens arrived on earth (St Tropez) and they take the human appearance but in fact they are robots. There are two scene where we can see females duplicates : on the beach, the cop realized three girls are in fact three aliens spy in bikini! The second time it's the cop wife who was dupicated.
It's possible this movie will be on the french tv in a few weeks, it's a classical!

Est ce que l'actor "LouisDeFennes" (typos, I know in the name) est dans ce film?

I think it played a few months ago here (in French, of course)(Canada) and I missed it. Tarbanac!

I grew up on his movies! I saw this movie llllooonnggg time ago.

"LouisDeFennes" is the kinda french (real french) version of Inspector Cluso... and he got always his numbskulls police bridgade with him... true classics!

I see the film for sale in a box set with other 'gendarme' stuff for $40 or $50. I wanna see it, but not bad enough to buy the whole set.
