Not sure if this is old news, but I was reading on darkhorizons.com the other day that James Cameron is going to be doing a film of Battle Angel Alita. It sounded fairly positive and emphatic but perhaps some time off.....

Impressive. I knew he had bought the writes to Gunnm ages ago but heard it was just so he could use the ideas in his Dark Angel series. For those of you lazy to paw around the internet you can find a nice article with more information here.
