I've seen several of your posts regarding HipComix, and its related ASFR content. I've looked at some of the free previews, and although the work is extremely competent on a technical basis, I haven't seen anything which directly appeals to my tastes.

I enjoy stories about fully artificial women (built and programmed, not transformed) who carry an almost, but not quite, complete illusion of reality. I enjoy "sleeper" stories, but do not require that the robot in question be made aware of her true nature. I enjoy stories which involve manipulation of the robot's perception of reality. Some of my favorite stories are BA's Childminder, Nybble's Doctor's Visit, and MadMechaCow's Syntech series.

What HipComix items would be most likely to appeal to my tastes?

Hmmmmm... I have written a handful of comics which feature fully artificial gynoids, complete with plastic/metal/rubber bodies and computer 'brains' and the whole nine yards, but for the most part they are all aware that they are robots and not human beings. They may act human, and may even attempt to pass themselves off as human (usually as a part of some villainous scheme), but they harbor no illusions that they actually are human.

They do, however, have fully formed personalities, and to a certain extent, emotions. One is a purely evil being who is obsessed with 'curing' humanity of its imperfections through the science of cybernization. One is a former henchman (henchbot?) who has turned to good and is trying to find a place for herself among human beings. I like to think that these fembots have some depth to their characters, but I guess that's not really for me to say.

I sell the comics that I have written (and therefore own) for $10 apiece. HIPcomix is made up of a team of artists and writers other than myself, and I don't have any control over their material.
