Ok i think ive got it figured out. Be patient with me, everyone. Im kinda stupid with forums and this is my first poll. If it isnt right (not working correct) i will fix it or ask for assistance from the management.

Bear in mind that actual removable panels may not be possible, but i am pushing for it and if i get enough votes, i may be able to see it realized if only in a few spots on the body.

No promises, but im hoping a chorus of votes sway the final decision.

Thanks to all!

Just checked the poll. Thanks for all the votes so far!

I just wanted to say ive been giving a lot of thought to the panels. I want to try to incorporated it into the final design, though im still waiting for the green light on starting the process. The company has their hands full with 2 other dolls now but will be ready soon.

so keep those votes pouring in and thanks to all!

I wanted to again suggest the idea of embedding an electronics project box. I assume the dolls are made with an internal skeleton that is set into a mold and filled with silicone. The idea is to screw a project box onto the skeleton (e.g. in the back) with the open-side out. Then fit the cover (without screwing it in place) and mold the silicone around it. By cutting a line in the silicone skin in the shape of the lid, the silicone and panel should come out in one piece (especially if the project box cover is prepped in some way to ensure the silicone grips well, like with a mesh mounted to the top). The stiff lid of the project box should ensure it stays in place when pressed back in place.
