Very Sad

Post by Devil » Tue Feb 06, 2007 9:15 pm

I've been around Gynoid.com and Fembot Central for over a decade. I'm sorry to see these new people come in and ruin it for everyone. Rejecting the old steadfast members for newbies just shows us something.

The poll showed over 60% of people didn't want it on the site, and that was just with 40 people.

This decision will lead to nothing but problems and a loss of what fembot central is/was all about.

But it seems like Fembot Central isn't just for fembots anymore, and that is quite sad. I hope for the best though.

I read the entire threat that Kisin block and Holy shit people!

Can you say OVEREACTING??????

I amazed how one or two pictures created such stupidity!

PENIS ! ARG!!!!!! MY virgin eyes are bleeding! DEATH TO SATAN!!! ARGG!!!!

I am sure the person who posted was not his/her etentions to piss off someone!!

If you know me, I wrote on freaking every subject thinkable in the past!

Yes, even about PENIS!!! Cut off penis, burned off penis, ripped off penis!

Does that makes me gay, or straight? (I am straight) but still, everyone is welcome here. Even myself, I freaked out on some subjets in the past and shot off my idiotic mouth off and even quit the group a few times.

And you know what? I can even remember what were the subjets were...
(probebly a gay thing (L)

My point.. is, if you don't like it, don't read it or look at it.

Then, only If a person start posting the same subject day after day, that piss off many, then, do something about it... like we did in the pass (yes, I did a few wicth hunt in the past myself, not proud of it)

I just think this thing is overreating... I know every year something like this happens... same old shit, I guess..

So, please I ask to think before anyone quit for the wrong reasons...

Well Kishin stepped in and at least assigned a seperate section for that other stuff, I can live with that.

I can understand the feelings of some people on the subject. Guys ruin my porn enjoyment most of the time (it's a rivalry thing, want the girl for myself alone)

But fetishes do not exist in isolation. And not everybody is of the orthodox persuasion when it comes to ASFR. I'm a borderline case myself. I believe I was born 50 years too early and that a really good fembot won't come until long after I've gone to the place where calculators go to die.

So I go for something alternative that most people would not consider mainstream ASFR. Essentially girls that are good at impersonating robots, the more elaborate the setup, the better.

Alas some of the better stuff comes from non-ASFR sources. If you want real life super cool dolls you have to check out the female mask community, they got some really amazing stuff. I'm sure a lot of mannequin fans will agree.

And I've seen furries with ASFR leanings and tons of people who come from unexpected angles and their own particular fetish.

I understand the whole TS/TG makes some people uncomfortable, and there isn't a week where I wish there was more GG stuff out there, I'd sure want to try to fix that if given enough time and money.

If I've learned anything in the past few years it's that a lot of people have pretty cool kinks and some are just ... weird. And while we can slap a lot of them together in various niches, you find that each individual has his or her own unique kinks. That's really neat. I can live with that. Exchange of ideas and meeting other people can enrich us all. And if it bothers you, stay out.

If I had restricted myself to mainstream ASFR, I would barely have had a tenth of the pleasure I've had ...

The sky has not fallen down, the enemy is not at the gates, the community is just getting bigger and more diverse.

I would just like to thank stalwart Kishin and the eminent Rotwang for their clear-headed, reasonable posts in this lurching, wildly histrionic episode. If it wasn't for them and those like them, this community would never have come together the way it has or survive the way it will.

You know, when I said people overreacting, I didn't mean Kishin, I totally agree what he said and did...

Wow, - good point, androido...
And Devil - the site isn't 'ruined for everyone'. We've achieved a compromise, which seems a rare thing nowadays. Your reasoning regarding the poll is a bit flawed - only 40 votes means only 40 people care about the 'issue'. Everyone else just wants to get along. Now let's do that. Thoroughly platonic hugs all 'round then.

Yeah a majority of us who didn't want the TG content are quite satisfied with it simply being put in a seperate area. I think it was a good comprimise.

Ok...

In practicum, a good compromise. In honesty, I won't be visiting the "tangent" gallery. But in fairness, could we please name it something other than the "tangent" gallery? People don't come to a site like this to be told again that their predilictions are "tangential:" they know that they're tangential, we all know that all our fantasies are tangential, and we all come here because this is a place where they're supposed to be mainstream. So we've segregated the gallery, great, but find a name that doesn't alienate, please. I mean, compared to the reformatting, that's nothing doing.

How about just "gender-bending ASFR?" Or "m to fembots?" Or "specialty models" or "custom models?" Or, I don't know, anything other than "tangent interests." ASFR is a tangent interest.

Is this going to be another case where political correctness renders the English language meaningless?

Personally, it doesn't matter to me, because I already know, but to any NEW members, what does "tangent interest" or "specialty models" actually MEAN?

Nothing.

Neither the people who seek transgender materials, nor the ones who want to avoid transgender materials will be able to identify what that section of the gallery actually contains.

I hate to keep beatng this dead horse, but can we just call a spade a spade? Nothing to be ashamed of.

Androido: they will, because there is a description of what each gallery contains below the actual name. Not that I don't find that somewhat haughty and dismissive as well:
"This gallery is for those pictures and images that might otherwise not conform to the normal Fembot Central criteria."
I mean, come on!
When I spoke out against a policed gallery before, this is exactly what I was afraid of! A "highly categorized" gallery, which was what I suggested, might have had categories like "M/M," "F/M," "M to F," without judgement being cast on any of them, or any conclusions being drawn as to whether or not they met the "appropriate" criteria. Or the argument being handed to the people who've irrationally objected to everything queer so far!

So now we've made a ghetto gallery. Can it at least be a ghetto with a nice name?

Oops, forgot about the description. Sorry.

But I can do without the persecution complex. "ghetto"? Come on.

Lol, don't talk to me, I'm not the one being persecuted. I just want everyone else to be convinced of the same.

Arrrrg, alright alright. Yeah, I know I might have come across as picky-choosy back there. But, in fairness, I haven't been on this site at all for three weeks, so it was my late contribution to the debate, and I didn't know that Kishin had already (wisely) ended said debate when I made it.

Slinking away to my well-adorned hole,

I've talked to over a dozen members of this site, and they have also decided to walk away sadly. This is not ASFR, this is Fembot Central, and fembot means female.

C'mon fellow, can't you knock it off? I'm pretty sure 90+% of the more than nine hundred members on this board just don't care about it... chill out pal, we're doing this for fun!!!
