What are your opinions? :?: :P
That's what my friends say about it. I think it's because for a "normal" person this fetish sounds unimaginably fictional and doesn't hurt anybody.
I don't think it's a curse, I only wish there was more material. I spend hours on googling new stuff, but very rarely do I find new images or movies that please me fully.

How do you guys feel about silicone breasts? I'm extremely into it, I think it has to do with my robot fetish. The faker they look, the better.

I've never gotten a negative response when telling a partner about my interest in this (I had one laugh but she was curious and tried it out), most often it's overwhelmingly enthusiastic. The thing I'm never sure of is if it's because they're interested/curious about it or if it's simply a desire to make me happy. In the end I suppose it doesn't matter.

As for fake breasts...I was a bouncer at a gentleman's club in my early to mid 20's and have seen a fair number of them up close (part of the job was collecting "house money" from the girls at the end of the night). A well done boob job is a glorious thing to behold. A bad one can be a huge turn off and make an otherwise attractive woman hard to look at when they are exposed.

Nothing below is an absolute. I'm speaking both about evolutionary tendencies and anecdotal experience.

I think this fetish threatens many women. When it comes up, many women will claim it has to do with objectification, something society has taught us is evil. Well, it is wrong in the way they mean, but what they miss is that we are not objectifying anyone. We are seeing an actual object as an object. Imagine that?

But I believe what they are really objecting to isn't objectification of women, but dis-empowerment. Few people have ever lost power and felt positive about the deal. Once high quality fembots come to market, women's options will be heavily truncated, because most women are as concerned with externalities as men are concerned with internals, which androids can't fulfill. This will lead to unequal access to mates. For example, women are often driven to prefer a mate that can provide security; the many ways in which this might be provided are mostly beyond an android, with the exception of trust and perhaps physical defense. They will not provide status, wealth, or believable dominance (because they are owned); an android cannot really be an "alpha male." Men are far more driven by the skin going inward: physical attractiveness, loyalty (among other achievable behaviors and emotions), variety. A sufficiently sophisticated fembot can provide these. Women instinctively realize that an android likely won't provide what they want, and they often feel cheated by the concept.

None of that presents a moral problem for me. On one level, I see it as a way of circumventing the power women have to filter me out of their mating pool; with luck, someday I'll be able to extricate myself from that process and, because of my fetish, still get what I want. On another level, it's nobody's business but mine what or who gets me off, as long as I'm not hurting anyone. If my SO doesn't like it, she doesn't like me, and isn't worth my time. Your partner doesn't dominate your sexuality, s/he shares in it; you came to the table with who you are.

I also think a great many people are lying to themselves or others about technosexuality, in as much as they even know about it. They'll say "not me," until a highend model comes to market. Next thing you know the blowup doll really is the girl next door. Many of them are lying in order to assure their SO of their adequacy. Adecuacy, of course, is a false problem here: a person can get their sex, and even emotional bonding, from more than one person/being in an open relationship. What's going on there is the fear of abandonment and the internal need of many to be the "one and only." They can often handle it when it's a dog, because they see themselves as above the dog (not always the case, lol), and there's no sex involved (one hopes!). So we see the real issue is jealousy, which is rooted in a loss of power, imo.

I think you're totally missing transformation fantasies, which are fascinating even for women.

Right, full of Christmas cheer, but no alcohol (as yet), lets have a crack at answering this. And hey, you know me, non totally feminist rant thrown in as a bonus.

That's not to say I cant have feminist moments when I need to, especially over equal pay, and equal opportunities (for those who seek it), but generally...When it comes to fembot issues, I'm very submissive, and know what I want to be. And also, before anyone wants to bring up the issue, yes, I'm Transgender, and proud of it. Now, at long last though (passport now sorted), all my paperwork says I'm female, just need a good surgeon, or scientist to sort out one last issue, and... No, I'm not getting a uterus transplant though, no baby bearing for me. Got my own womb anyway, just undeveloped!

Right, to matters.
Yes, many women will see this fetish as a threat to them. Lets face it, roleplaying as a fembot means getting into a very submissive mind set. Not even all of a submissive nature would want to take it that far, as this is a matter of total control handover while a robot. But equally, there are some who thoroughly enjoy the idea of switching off your mind (not literally, generally) and letting someone else take total control. Equally, no one with Domme bones, or neo-feminists are going to like this in the slightest. FYI, some of the neo feminists go too far for my tastes, bit like some of the crazy Trans people I've seen moaning about life too. It is hard, but again, equal rights would be fine, but not more!

I suspect in time, 'alpha male' robots will be developed, but I don't think the sex industry see it as the same priority as fembots for men. As pointed out, the nature of the male climax will take some time to sort out lol! Then again, current male sex dolls don't do that either! No, never used either! And yes, you're right, when technosexuality develops, as it surely will, people not fans at present will get involved, for sure. I remember people saying what would I ever need a computer for, and now...

Alright, if I had been a real woman, I might have found it easier to get play as a robot, or indeed a little transformation play (which I'd love even more), but do you know what, I bet it still wouldn't have been easy? Why, because there are an awful lot of men out there who find the idea of female robots, obeying their every command, a turn off! So it is a two way thing, believe me. I could equally say that I don't understand the men who want a fembot, and then want it to malfunction, or have violence done to it. I always assumed people wanted the perfect lover, but anyway...I can sort of see the malfunction thing, I guess it proves the woman is a robot, but other than that...Is that it, guys?
darkbutflashy wrote:I think you're totally missing transformation fantasies, which are fascinating even for women.
Yes, absolutely. I suspect there are more than a few out there, who if the man did something for them, might just play along. But expecting a woman just to play along as a fembot, with nothing in return, might be harder to find.

I'm not going to offer myself as a fembot lover to anyone, btw. I haven't had intercourse type sex in over 15 years, so wouldn't have a clue. Yes, body issues, I'm sure, but anyway...Fine, give me a vagina, and I might feel more inclined, but I wouldn't put good money on it. I would say however, that if anyone wants a totally obedient (mind controlled, if possible) fembot that I'd love to fulfil the role, but I might just be taken!

OK, enough for now, I think?
I'm just a 'girl' who wants to become a fembot whats wrong with that?

If/when the sexbot is developed, will men be the primary market/driver for fembots? With Androids an after thought if even considered at all? How about a marketing to gay/homosexuals for male bots? How big of a market would that be? How would Lesbians react to the availiblity of fembots?

I think the primary, and initial market will be fembots, aimed at hetro males. It will be the biggest need, and desire element of human sexuality, after all. I do think the other markets will follow in time, but will be after the initial major push with the most popular option.
Isnt there a separate website just for male bots, for the gay men market? So I think it would be popular, though I have no idea how much of that is created bots, or whether its mainly the transformation concept?
Lesbians, and fembots. Do you mean in the sense of sexual contact, or their reaction to them being around? The former, I'm sure a few would. The latter, I suspect reaction would be similar to hetro women, though possibly a higher proportion objecting, as they seem to tend slightly more to militancy.

I don't think androids for gay men are comparable to androids for straight women, really. I think gay men have similar attraction mechanisms to straight men. I cite the popularity of gay porn. Women engage in porn as well, of course, but they are less popularly inclined; much more popular for them is fiction (romance, erotic romance, and erotica). Literary porn. The reason is obvious: the psychology of female attraction isn't nearly so intensely visual or based on sexual behaviors and context. Emotional content, commitment rituals, status, and wealth (in other words, social ques) play a much larger role, generally. This is why I think androids will be a weak option for most women in the future.

By the time it gets better for them, androids won't really be tools anymore. Women will be back to square one, except the "guy" they want will always look and behave like their idealized version of Brad Pitt (or insert whatever flavor of the month). In order to provide appropriate sexual ques, he'll have to be free, and that means free to break your heart.

I do think there will be a minority of women who'll be quite happy with both fembots and androids, concurrent with their popularity among straight men.

I'm not ashamed of my fetish, it's a part of me. But IRL I've never told anybody about it (not even my family); right now it's very dangerous because of some laws in my country (no, I'm not joking) - laws that "protect" family values.

Only some of my internet friends know about my fetish, and they are completely okay with it. One of them even became slightly interested in ASFR (unfortunately, I lost contact with him ~5 years ago).

The biggest appeal of this fetish to me is the "care" that I can give to a fembot - to tinker with their system, program them, upgrade them, and repair them (especially after a glitch that I've left in there on purpose to activate during sex).

So I'm not ashamed of this fetish. Other than my spouse, I've told nobody else in real life - but because I'm quite introvert, and i won't share my kink whatever it would be.

I have, however, thought about the implications of this kink coming to life. I consider myself lucky: I have a partner that accepts it, and occasionally let me play it, even with a costume. I love her very much, and I cherish our relationship. On some part, i fear the coming of a real-world fembot: I would be tempted to purchase it, but my partner will obviously fear and dread it, knowing my kink. I think that she accepts it because she views it as an expression of our love and our relationship: without her in the equation, it would be akin to infedelity.

I can't say I feel anything bad about being a technosexual. I'm outside the "norm" by default, so it doesn't bother me. Currently, my sister more or less knows my interest, while my mom knows I am fairly enthusiastic about advanced in robotics and AI.

However, I am aware that there is a stigma towards technology replacing biology. Whether it's AI itself or cybernetics. I think people do genuinely think I'm insane if I tell them that I wish I had an entirely synthetic body and a digital consciousness. I just think that those people are hilarious.

That said, I am pretty sad that my technosexual dreams can't be realised at this time. I can't be someone's gynoid girlfriend, or be with a synthetic lifeform. I am optimistic about the future, however. Perhaps one of those dreams will be realised. Or better yet, both!

"How do you feel about this fetish?" Well, how does anyone feel about any fetish? Compared to other fetishes, this one seems esoteric, but ultimately harmless. I'm not hurting anyone. Sexualizing and objectifying robot women as objects designed to be sexy doesn't really hurt anyone, as long as it's remembered to not objectify and overly sexualize the real thing; remember to separate the fantasy from reality. Otherwise, it gives hardcore feminism ammo to create distrust and deeper schisms between genders and frankly, we don't need that these days. But I digress. As long as no one gets hurt, it should be alright.

The reason or reasons for the fetish, or any fetish, is a mystery that frustrates me. What makes a mobile, metallic statue that looks like a female humanoid, and speaks lowly and monotone and stilted sexy? The same question could be asked for other fetishes or kinks. What makes women wrestling in Jell-O sexy? What makes feet, abs, boobs, or butts sexy? What makes BDSM sexy? The list goes on. And not even just with regards to kinks, but everyday garden-variety attraction. What makes boys attracted to girls, girls attracted to boys, boys attracted to boys, girls attracted to girls, etc.? What makes another individual sexually attracted/attractive to another, and why? You will notice that there's a lot of postulations, articles, arguing, and screaming put forth, but not too much of a consensus.

Somehow for me, I realized that women are attractive to me and women acting like robots is a bizarre turn-on, but a turn-on nonetheless. The female body already so hot, and a robot programmed to perform a consistent function perfectly... And the walk... such power with each step, such control over herself (you see this sometimes with runway models (the walk, the impassive face)). Then, when she speaks so monotone, so evenly, there is no note of doubt in her voice, no deviation from who or what she is at her core. She knows exactly who she is and what she can do. The unwavering confidence and implication that she can do anything, capable of doing anything she wants or someone she knows wants, at this point she becomes like a towering Amazon. She is her own woman, she does not require you. So, naturally, you would be attracted to her because she fills in the many holes in your own personality.

Programmed to obey? Sure, whatever you say. Programmed to control? Sure, whatever you say. I think that most established fetishes and kinks are those that involve an exchange of power and control. Of course, the secret ingredient that makes it harmless fun is trust in your partner. BDSM involves a person or persons assuming a dominant or submissive role (exchange of power). Women wrestling in Jell-O is a display of a test of each others strength with a winner or loser (see also 'test of power', though I can't account for the Jell-O). Even a cage dancer at a club who just dances there being sexy has the implication of power being exchanged, with the unspoken statement being "*Seductive voice* Hey there, I'm sexy and you'll do anything I ask, won't you? Mm-hmm...". There are other real world examples (both with and without trust), but this is already going on pretty long.

So, to sum up, I like it. It may be off-beat, but that could be said of any kink or fetish. I still like it. How much that has to do with an attraction to women may be fairly significant. The rest comes from that exchange of power that seems inherent in any strong sexual relationship.
:hypnotized: I, for one, welcome the perfect, mechanical Bebe robots as Queens of the World. :hypnotized:
