I don't see Momus "Pygmalism" in there. That's my favorite.

Still Alive by Glados & Jonathan Coulton kinda sounds like a fembot singing a song.

Actually, I'm basically finished, but I just wanted to ask if anybody knows some more songs that I don't already have. Here's the mix so far:

01 The Supremes - Dr. Goldfoot and the Bikini Machine
02 The Sloopys - Dr. Goldfoot and the Girl Bombs
03 Jefferson Airplane - Plastic Fantastic Lover
04 Disco Dream And The Androids - Dream Machine
05 Stormclouds - Galaxina
06 The Buggles - I Love You Miss Robot
07 ELO - Yours Truly, 2095
08 Dharma - Plastic Doll
09 Casco - Cybernetic Love
10 Was (Not Was) - Robot Girl (Paris Mix)
11 Lords of Acid - Robot Love
12 The Hanson Brothers - My Girlfriend's a Robot
13 Duran Duran - Electric Barbarella
14 Fantastic Plastic Machine - Electric Ladyland
15 Regurgitator - Polyester Girl
16 Lenny Kravitz - Black Velveteen
17 Princess Superstar - Do It Like a Robot
18 t.A.T.u. - Robot
19 The Epoxies - Molded Plastic
20 The Cells - She, Robot
21 Johnny Terris - Bionic Fembot Mix
22 Darkstar - Aidy's Girl's A Computer
23 Robyn - Fembot
24 3OH!3 - Robot

Hmm... Just realized I left out a song from 1967. :nerd:

Btw, I do audio restoration as a hobby, so these songs sound fucking great. 8) Keizo can vouch for that. :P

EDIT: Added track #3.

The World Is Not Enough - Garbage
Plug It In - Basement Jaxx
Hungry - Dave Navarro
Assemble the ladies? I didn't know that they were broken......

OH...I'm sure there are many more OUT there... but the first one that comes to my head aside from your list is CYBORG by THE PHENOMENAUTS from their album FOR ALL MANKIND. Mayhaps even DANCIN' MACHINE by the Jackson Five? -- the album version of that even has the spoken words 'THANK YOU MASTER FOR TURNING ME ....ON" ....then it goes into the single we all know.
...From my HEART and from my HAND
WHY don't people understand my intentions?

"Barbie Girl" & "Like A Robot" by Aqua could qualify.

Kate Ryan's song "Robots" would fit in this category... I'm pretty sure there are more I was intending to post but I forget..something to try and remember, at least. :)

You could also make a playlist of signature songs from pop stars who *were* robotic in nature...Avril Lavigne and Katy Perry come to mind.

OMD - Atomic Ranch

I want a robot wife, is one of the sample lines here

Could also make a case for Kissing The Machine, clearly fembot related

Both on English Electric LP
I'm just a 'girl' who wants to become a fembot whats wrong with that?

Yes, same singer on both versions though, Andy McCluskey, so take your pick.

This may be a complete stretch (and me giving a shameless plug for my own work), but seeing as how I consider David Guetta's "Titanium" to be the unofficial theme of The V.I.C.I. Diaries, would it belong on this Fembot Album of yours?

But it's performed by a girl.......and I don't think the lyrics are meant to be taken literally.

Also, you may have this song confused with Black Sabbath's "Iron Man"...

THAT's Titanium.

Lol, I was listening to Iron Man in Baghdad when you were in your Dad's bag. :P

I keed, I keed. But seriously, those first 6 Sabbath albums are surely encoded in my DNA, I listened to them so much when I was growing up. I made my earlier comment based off a google search for the lyrics. But since it's sung by a woman, it puts a more interesting spin on the song.
So you'll consider it?

Found it! :)

This was the one I couldn't think of the title or artist, but it finally popped into my head. The song is instrumental and it's more about the beat that's "clockwork", plus I saw a really cute girl do a dance routine to this song complete with poi and dressed like a clockwork girl doll. Things like that stay in your memory! :) (It was at Circus Artemis in Portland, OR, for those wondering).

Beats Antique - "Roustabout"

Let the suggestions continue!

EDIT!
This may have been posted earlier but it's very late here and I'm liable to miss things when I need to charge this month, so...

Thomas Dolby - "You Blinded Me With Science (Radio Version)"
Sarah Brightman - "Ghost In The Machinery"

(I'm glad you liked my previous ones!)

Yes, I was rather surprised at the omission of Barbie Girl...

Still, that's not a bad list.

I don't know if this fits the paradigm, but I'd like to throw in for the now-defunct L.A. band Marizane's "Sad Foolish Robot". While they lasted, they did such a great job of aping David Bowie's style that reportedly, pop archivist Rodney Bingenheimer played him one of their songs and for a moment he struggled trying to remember when he recorded it only to find out it wasn't his!

For listening, try this link:

https://soundcloud.com/jeff_kluesner/sad-foolish-robot

Their music is on iTunes (I don't use it myself), the EP this is on is at Amazon and CDBaby, pretty cheap, I don't know if there's any other means to hork an mp3 of it.

I don't think the lyrics have been posted anywhere, but I'll give it a shot:

Steel faced, and hard wired
As your friend I was hired to consult you
But it's late, and I'm tired
I can't count all the time on your side
To find reason or rhyme
So unwind

Roll back my eyes
(can't make this out)
Sad foolish robot
Never thought something so wrong would come to life
All the while
With a cryptic harlequinesque wire smile

Steeped in pain, once derived
I just wanted to leave, be alone
Something strange, here tonight
By mistake, if allowed to survive, could bring fear to your own
But then I

(chorus)

I don't want nobody to wear my clothes
I don't want nobody to know the things I know

Run away, terrified
As your friend I might try to destroy you
You won't sleep anyway
Cover light, can't imagine so dark
Turns my day into night
So goodbye

(chorus)

Roll back my eyes
(still can't identify)
Sad foolish robot
Never thought something so wrong would come to life
This time my twin
With a cryptic harlequinesque evil grin

oi, how about this one?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bbFf5Vu1ego

Miss It So Much - Röyksopp

I miss it so much
No button to touch No dial to turn
No key to hold
Days turn to nights,
turn to weeks Turn to paper, into rocks, into plastic
My material heart how it keeps us apart
Watching days turn to nights turn to weeks
Turn everything I got into techniques
My mechanical heart how it tears me apart
I miss it so much
No button to touch
No dial to turn
No key to hold
I miss it so much
No button to touch No flick of the switch
Hand on my heart
Days turn to nights, turn to weeks
Turn to paper, into rocks, into plastic
My material heart how it keeps us apart
Watching days turn to nights, turn to weeks
Turn everything I got into techniques
My mechanical heart how it tears me apart
I miss it so much No button to touch
No dial to turn No key to hold
I miss it so much No button to touch
No flick of the switch
Hand on my heart

and how about Kraftwerk?

No one mentioned Android Lust - Refuse?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zYK8HE995Gw

"I have been broken, polluted, destroyed...
ripped apart and crushed by a thousand lies
You may have wanted to see the changes
as the rage erupts and bleeds out of my eyes..."

Song applies to both humans and androids apparently; and she sings both a regular and acoustic version.

Very very nice, though I did think at least one Aqua song would've made it. :) And Regurgitator's "Polyester Girl". I'll let you know if I come across anything else. Thanks for compiling all this! :)

Given her sentiments in those Aqua songs, she ought to be a member here lol

Just found about Team Doyobi's Zone 6 Gynobots Attack. No easy listening, no lyrics, but a title and some samples.
