Not quite yet. We're working around everyone's schedules and looking for awesome locations. We have two of the months shot now and that was because it was easy to do. We're hoping to have it done by August!

I'm torn as to put the images up here as we take them or to make you guys wait..

Personally, I think it's better to make folks wait so that you can decide which months go with which pictures and also to attach the actual calendar formats. I'm not just saying that because I might get a sneak peek at the raw photos (if you still with me to photoshop, that is) but because from an artistic standpoint, you don't want to cheapen your work. Of course you can also show alternate takes or "behind the scenes" type things as well to hype up the final product, but that is ultimately up to you. Either way, I'll respect your decision.

i agree, production or alternate shots just add to the hype...it also gives the rest of us a little treat.

All the extras really are appreciated especially when it comes to a target (captive!) audience like ours :notworthy:
I've always lamented that so much gets lost on the cutting room floor. I can only wonder how much footage was filmed for the few seconds of fembot action in a video such as "Plug It In" by Basement Jaxxx or Fedde Le Grand's "Put Your Hands Up For Detroit." Honestly, think how much we didn't see from the audition, to the different camera angles that were rolling to the multiple takes. All that footage is lost. :|

I know it would be asking too much for Robo_Sugar and her friends to do some actual video footage of any of the shoots, but all I'm saying is have fun with it and don't let those sets and costumes go to waste. Get as much as you can while you can because not only will you have more options for the final product, but you will have more reference material you can archive and learn from... and, hopefully, share

I don't know about professional footage, but we could take video with a normal camera or cell phone! I don't think anyone would mind that. It would be kind of cool to tape the make up being applied or just goofing around with the props. Like I said, so far we only have two months done. Real life keeps getting in the way of our fun.

you know what i was thinking? you could add some important real or fictitious dates for the robotkind like the the activation of skynet, the release of some videogame like megaman, asimov birthday or similar stuff, of course, if you want...i would...too ambitious maybe u<u

Date suggestions:
- premiere of the play R.U.R.
- premiere of Metropolis (and also of the release of the most complete version to date)
- Twilight Zone - The Lateness of the Hour, others
- Dr. Goldfoot
- Bionic Woman fembots
- Stepford Wives by Ira Levin peaks on best-sellers list.
- Stepford Wives movie premiere 1975 - but NO entry for the other one!
- Westworld
- Futureworld
- Cyborg 2
- Austin Powers

Those are all dates in our world. Fictional dates, beyond Skynet, are imprecise.
If anything happened to/with a fembot on a holiday, or because it was a specific time of year, that might be a good way to mention a favorite moment.

I don't think we should ask Robo_Sugar have to do any research as she's already doing us a huge solid if she goes through with the calendar. If the factoids are to be added then I hope one of the members here offers his/her services to format the calendar end of the project and add these bits of info in the correct date box. And if that's going to be the case then it's up to the members here to submit the correct information to THAT person. I'm not trying to be a buzzkill or anything; I just think it's asking a bit much especially since not everyone's favorite subjects will be addressed or facts they think should be included.

I think we're just enthusiastically spit-balling ideas.
