As of today, FembotWiki has been transferred from the shared server that it has been hosted on at Dreamhost for the past 15 years to a new private server managed by Blox. This private server offers us a faster and more stable user experience, since the only site hosted on it is FembotWiki.
Additionally, the wiki itself has received the following upgrades:
*MediaWiki upgraded from 1.37.1 to 1.39.2
*PHP 8.2 upgraded to PHP 8.2.3 and PHP 8.2.x is supported better
*MySQL 8 replaced with MariaDB
*All extensions upgraded accordingly
There may be a few hiccups in the first few days as the change in DNS settings works its way across the globe and on your individual computers and browsers, but already you should notice a much faster experience.
