KOS-MOS deleted our first years of posts

Over half my contributions, gone.
Same for the rest of you.

What a supremely thoughtless act.
I'm glad she's gone from here.

What dale is referring to is a feature called "forum pruning". KOS-MOS had it activated for a brief period several years ago before I turned it off. But the effect is the same. Fembot Central's earliest posts no longer exist.

Forum pruning is useful for massive forums with hundreds of thousands of users making thousands of posts per day. It's intended to keep the size of the database from spiraling out of control. We don't have that problem here.
